Chapter 623 Embarrassment

Chapter 623 Embarrassment

After he asked the question, Andy pressed his lips tightly.

Since he became a retinue of Colin, he had never made a request to Colin. This time, he felt flustered for overly demanding from the bottom of his heart.

Driving at a constant speed, Andy didn't dare to look at Colin in the rearview mirror.

After a while, Colin said grimly, "You can help him, but don't get me into trouble."

Andy tightened his grip on the steering wheel. There was a touch of excitement on his expressionless face. "You can rest assured."

He added, "After fixing it all up, I will send Hank away. You won't meet him again."

Colin leaned against the backseat. He neither agreed nor objected, without saying anything.

An hour and a half later, they arrived at Farrell Media.

Colin got off the car and entered the company. As soon as he entered the elevator, he took out his phone from the pocket to send a message to Faye: [Honey, are you busy now?] Faye didn't reply immediately. After a few minutes, she only replied one word: [Yes.]

Colin: [I see.]

Faye had a tight schedule today. Except for dealing with Tanner's troubles, a rapper who had just signed a contract with the company was in trouble as well. The rapper acted like a poser. It was not a big deal.

However, the point was that after being laid bare, the rapper not only didn't realize his mistake, but also threatened to kill the reporter who exposed him.

Such a remark sparked a torrent of verbal abuse.

Just now, the reception desk of the company received an anonymous package.

Inside the package was a human doll who was splashed with dog blood and pierced with many needles.

Fortunately, it was a veteran clerk of Farrell Media that was on duty today. He was just in a cold sweat from fear.

Faye read through the public opinion and sentiment with a tablet computer in her hand. Galen, who stood in front of his desk, frowned and said. "Ms. Nash, the rapper is still unwilling to apologize." Faye nodded and swiped across the screen of the tablet.

Galen asked, "What should we do now?"

Faye put down the tablet and looked up. "Where is his agent?"

Galen replied, "He is waiting outside the door anxiously."

He muttered in a low voice, "The person concerned is not worried at all."

Faye reached out to pick up the coffee cup on the desk and took a sip. "Let him in."

Galen nodded and walked outside the door.

A few minutes later, he returned, followed by the rapper's agent.

With an anxious expression, the agent was at a loss what to do when seeing Faye.

Faye put down the cup and crossed her fingers at the desk. "Tell me, what are you gonna do with this matter?"

The agent had worked for Farrell Media for many years. He said with a sad face, "Ms. Nash, I'm at my wit's end." Faye said calmly, "The public relations department can do nothing."

If the rapper didn't cooperate, it was useless for the public relations department to clarify.

The agent said helplessly, "Ms. Nash, you don't know that most rappers are short-tempered and straightforward, so..."

Faye interrupted him indifferently, "I'm not interested in their temper."

The agent didn't know what to say.

His silence froze the atmosphere in the office.

Just as the agent racked his brain to think of countermeasures, the office door was suddenly pushed open from the outside, and a boy in trendy clothes came in.

He went straight to Faye and walked to the desk. He leaned forward with his hands pressing down on the desk, saying in an unruly manner, "I can answer for what I did. Go easy on my agent." Faye gave him a cold look and said faintly, "Galen, inform the personnel department to terminate the agreement."

Galen answered, "OK, Ms. Nash."

He turned and left.

Seeing Galen was about to walk to the door, the agent rushed forward to stop him. The agent folded his hands to beg Galen. After a long time, he looked up at Faye. "Ms. Nash, Bentley is still young and ignorant. Don't take offence at him."

Instead of looking at the agent, Faye raised her chin at the boy. "You turn to look at your agent. If you continue to be incorrigibly obstinate, he will be subservient and servile for you." Faye didn't care about the feelings of others, but her words were true.

What she said touched the boy's sore spot. He tightened his hands on the desk. Because of anger, the veins stood out on the back of his hands.

Faye said, "A person's temper must be directly proportional to his ability. If he has a bad temper and inability, he will not only embarrass himself, but also embarrass people around him."
