Chapter 616 Why He Can

After Rebecca finished speaking, the box became quiet.

Tanner leaned in his seat. Seeing Faye stand at the door, he became sober.

Tanner was nervous, and there was a thin layer of sweat on his palms. "Faye."

Faye was expressionless and came in as if she hadn't heard Rebecca's words. "Are you drunk?"

Tanner answered, "Yes."

After speaking, Tanner reached out to take the tea beside the glass in order to cover up his panic. He was so absent-minded and panicked that the glass and the teacup fell to the ground at the same time. With a crispy crack, Tanner blushed.

Faye glanced at him and drew two tissues for him, "Wipe this."

Tanner took the tissues, a little embarrassed, and laughed, "I drank too much."

Faye ignored Tanner and helped Rebecca, "Can you still walk?"

Rebecca raised her head and noticed that it was Faye who was standing in front of her. She held her arms around Faye's waist and buried her face in Faye's arms. "Faye, why can't there be pure friendships between men and women in this world?"

Faye's hand fell on Rebecca's back and patted it twice. "You're drunk."

Rebecca whispered, "I'm not drunk. Now I'm soberer than ever."

"Get up, and I'll send you back."

"Tanner got to us because he liked you in the first place, but later, the friendship between the three of us is true!"

Rebecca mumbled and her eyes were red like a rabbit's.

After Rebecca finished speaking, Faye and Tanner both said nothing.

Seeing that the two didn't speak, Rebecca sniffed and sat up straight from Faye's arms. "I always thought that we could be friends for a lifetime."

Faye patted Rebecca on the back, "I'll send you home."

With the help of Faye, Rebecca was forced to get up.

Rebecca leaned into Faye's arms and reached out to pull Tanner's cuff. "Tanner, go home."

Tanner didn't move, sitting on the chair. He smiled bitterly, "You two go first, and I'll sit here and sober up."

Rebecca said, "We three are good friends. How can we leave you alone? Go. We can sober up as we walk."

The drunk people weren't rational, especially this kind of person like Rebecca.

When she was sober, she was noisy. When she was drunk, she was noisier.

Rebecca dragged Tanner to his feet. Seeing him standing up, Rebecca leaned into Faye's arms with satisfaction. "Faye, let's go."

Faye looked down at Rebecca. "When you're alone, don't drink too much outside in the future. You're easy to get drunk."

Rebecca was a little confused at this moment, looking blank. "Ah?"

Faye was speechless.

The three walked out of the box. Faye took out her cell phone from her pocket and wanted to call Colin. Rebecca suddenly pushed her away. "Wait, I want to go to the bathroom." After speaking, Rebecca went straight to the bathroom.

Seeing this, Faye hurriedly followed.

When Faye just took a step, Tanner stood behind her and said, "Faye."

Faye stopped and looked back. Seeing Tanner's repressing expression, Faye replied lightly, "Let's talk about it later."

After speaking, Faye walked into the bathroom.

In the bathroom, Rebecca vomited violently, and her tears came out.

Faye patted her on the back, "How much did you drink tonight?"

"There were two bottles of liquor. I drank at least one bottle and a third of another bottle alone."

Hearing Rebecca's words, Faye smiled, "Great. You still remember how much you drank."

After vomiting, Rebecca stumbled to the wash basin.

Faye followed behind her and wanted to help her. But she was pushed away by Rebecca, "Don't touch me. It's dirty. I'm afraid that I'll vomit on you."

Rebecca spoke as she put her hand under the sensor faucet and washed her face and rinsed her mouth.

After finishing these things, Rebecca sobered up a lot. Leaning against the marble countertop of the sink, she looked at Faye and took a breath. "I really can't bear to part with Tanner." Faye looked into Rebecca's eyes, "I know."

"Pure friendship."

Faye laughed, "Uh-huh."

Rebecca pursed her lips, "Can't we three really continue to be together?"

Faye was silent for a moment and said honestly, "We can still be friends."

But there was no way to be like before.

Friendships were beautiful, but for the friendships between men and women, it was easy to cross the border.

Especially when one of them had a lover, they should keep their distance.

Rebecca knew that Faye was always rational. Rebecca was simply sorry for this friendship.

After adjusting her emotions, Rebecca came out of the bathroom with Faye.

Seeing the two, Tanner's eyes fell on Faye. "Faye, I have something to tell you."

Noticing Tanner's expression, Rebecca faintly felt that something bad would happen. She frowned, "Tanner."

Tanner didn't look at Rebecca and stared at Faye. "Can I say it?"

Faye looked back at Tanner, impassive. "Yes, you can. But after that, we won't be friends anymore."

What Faye said made Tanner wordless.

Tanner lowered his head and smiled bitterly. After a while, he raised his head and asked, "Colin can say it, and why can't I?" After Tanner finished speaking, before Faye could answer, a figure ran at Tanner and kicked him to the ground.
