In the general manager's office, Rosalie took her seat and calmly began brewing hot water to make tea.

Faye followed her in and sat down opposite her. The others did not enter the room.

The two confronted each other head-on.

Faye's eyes were cold.

"Rosalie, tell me. What exactly do you want for you to hand over the research institute? You're now a rich and affluent wife. You don't need a career! So, I hope your conditions won't make me too upset!" Rosalie responded in silence as if she had not heard a thing.

This pissed Faye off even more. "What? Are you mocking me? Don't forget when you were in Europe back then. If I hadn't helped you, you might be sleeping on the streets now!"

Rosalie finally stopped her actions, raised her eyes, and nodded.

"Yes, I've always kept your care in mind. That's why I handed over the previous research institute to you directly. Now, it's redundant for me to remind you about the annual profits that the research institute generates for GK Group, right?"

Faye was stunned for a moment, unable to find any words to refute.

Indeed, the drugs developed by the previous research institute were still contributing to nearly one-third of GK Group's net profits.

"So?" Faye asked back.

Faye hesitated for two seconds but picked up the teacup anyway.

She could not grasp her junior even more now. When did she start to possess this indifferent and free-spirited attitude?
