Jillian replied with a smile, "I've probably had enough of good days and felt like punishing myself a bit."

She said this with a smile, showing eagerness for the challenge.

"If I succeed, then I'll have Mario. That would be a perfect ending. But if I fail, I'll keep trying. I don't think Mario's feelings for you will disappear easily. Having me around will create a barrier for him, making things easier for you. Once you're married and have children, if he still hasn't given up, then he's truly beyond help."

"If that's the case, will you give up?" Camille asked.

Jillian paused, seemingly not having considered this question. After a brief moment of thought, she said, "I don't think I'll give up."

Camille gave her a thumbs up, impressed by Jillian's determination even in such circumstances. It seemed only true love could inspire such resolve.

Soon, their food arrived, and they continued to chat while eating.
