Kian turned back to meet Brody's gaze, maintaining a neutral expression. His dark eyes locked onto Brody's, and he replied, "Of course. Would I lie to Mr. Armstrong? If Mr. Simpson finds out, he might deduct my salary, right?"

Finding no holes in Kian's words, Brody's expression remained unpleasant. His eyes held suspicion and bewilderment, but his questions remained unanswered. "What about the rumors about Ayan from last night? What's the truth behind them?"

Kian turned around to face Brody directly. "Simpson Group has already released a clarification regarding last night's incident. Mr. Armstrong, don't be deceived by online rumors. Many people are envious of Simpson Group's growth and Mr. Simpson's abilities. Creating baseless rumors is common, so as long as we don't get misled, we'll be fine."

Unable to find any loopholes in Kian's words, Brody reluctantly nodded in agreement.

Unaware of Kian's departure, Brody continued to wait alone in the office. It wasn't until the afternoon that Ayan had yet to return. Feeling restless, Brody stood up and asked the assistant, "Where is Mr. Simpson?"

Apologizing, the assistant informed him, "Mr. Armstrong, I'm sorry. Mr. Simpson and Mr. Reid left for an important dinner. Shall I order you a meal? Mr. Simpson will return in the afternoon to talk with you."
