Ch 6 Unexpected Circumstances

Kim's POV

The morning after

I knew this was going to be one of the hardest things to ask my parents , to be honest and I was terrified.

knowing I just found my mate who knows if I would able to move into the pack house with him.

I gave myself a quick pep talk and walked to the kitchen. Little did i know, my mom and dad were sitting at the counter already waiting for me.

"Hey mom, dad can I ask you guys something" I said with a slight uneasiness to my tone .

"Hey sweet pea , what seems to be the problem . You seem kinda nervous honey" asked my Dad with a smile.

I knew I couldn't get around this now. If anybody knew me it was my Dad , he was more observant than most but he wouldn't tell you that . That's just something you would have to figure out on your own. I guess that's what 12 years in the navy will do to you.

"Er-yeah I'm fine, I just had a question for you and mom" I stated carefully.

"I know we just moved here, but they made me a Senior in my classes and I found out the alpha is my mate. I feel like I'm old enough and mature enough to move into the pack house, and my birthday is in two months soooooooo I was thinking can I daddy ? Pleaseeeeeeeeeeee"

I pleaded with exasperation.

My parents gave each other a look and started roaring with laughter, I've never seen my dad laugh so hard and it was making me mad.

"What's so funny" I asked with a slight pout

"Nothing honey, Maxwell asked us last night and we agreed"

he stated simply. Then looked at my mother and said

"I just want my baby happy, we just thought you knew already" and they both chuckled.

"REALLY" i screamed with Excitement.

I couldn't believe they would let me go so easily. Knowing I'm there first and only child, no one in there right mind would give me up to a horny wolf king or whatever you want to call it but I'm guessing they knew I was gone sneak out if they didn't.

Ehh saved me some trouble.

"Yes we are baby, he said head over there as soon as possible. He's going to have somebody get your stuff and bring it to the pack house" my mom Stated Somewhat sadly.

I feel like she is going to miss me the most I am the definition of a mommas girl. She's like my bestie ... no she is my bestie, she taught me how to wear makeup, what to do if I run out of eyeliner, things to do if my heart gets broken Etc the list can go on.

So it's a bitter sweet feeling to know I'm beginning a new chapter starting today at the midnight moon pack - as there Luna,

god it sound so good to say that. After knowing what happened between me and my last Alpha Saint.

I shuddered, mad and Disgusted I brought up that Terrible feeling as if he was still watching me currently while holding me against my will. I would never let somebody have that type of control over me again mate or not, this I swore to myself.

I hugged my parents goodbye, got a small bag and headed out the door. To my surprise I get a mind link.

*Babe I'm outside*

he thought huskily.

*Here I come * I stated

trying not to show my excitement, But how could I not be excited. I finally found somebody I can call mine, I never had unconditional love and I'm hoping this is the love my mom and dad have. The one I grew up watching my whole life.

Sigh what I life

I got into the car and kissed max as a greeting. Electricity sparked across my lips,

"you missed me princess?" He stated huskily, which he does alot now I've noticed.

"Yes papa, I feel like I haven't seen you in hours" I said feeling somewhat clingy, then I laughed to myself knowing this is apart of the mating process. To be completely smitten with your other half ...... and honestly I'm accepting it wholeheartedly.

I deserve it.

"You ready ?" He asked.

"Yes" I stated with a smile.

Then he pushed his corvette from 0 to 80 towards the pack house but I was kinda uneasy not knowing what to expect when we arrived .........
