Ch 4 Unexpected

Kimberly's POV

I had Gym Last period. So I was getting dressed, when I was thinking how easy gym was going to be. It's like Childs play for a werewolf to be honest. It was crazy, how the dress code for gym, is a sports bra and shorts. Like the ones for volleyball, But it was all girls class so It was fine to me.

Just imagine if max was in my class I was thinking while blushing. What is his deal anyway, all this shes mine shit Has to stop. I'm not some item on a shelf, these werewolfs can just fight over. Like wtf

Somewhat Pissed and tired. I made my way to the gym to find a huge inside basketball court. The coach/gym teacher mr jones introduced the class instruction. We ended up running 4 laps, and playing volleyball.

I hit the showers, washed my hair and got dressed when a short blond girl walked up to me. She had a jean skirt on with a hi-rise top that said ksubi across the front of it.

"What's that,"

she was pointing at my birthmark tattoo.

"Oh it's a birthmark,"

I said while putting on my top.

"Are you max mate?" she whispered.

"H-how do you know.." I stuttered.

"I seen his name, and wolf. Plus I can smell him on you," she stated confidently.

"Oh, well I'm Kim,"I smiled.

"I'm Stacy, the beta's Mate," she smiled.

I assumed she was Max's girlfriend somebody that attractive has to be taken, I finished getting dressed and grabbed my bag Before we walked out together.

I met up with Zach, and walked to his car. "Get in," he chuckled. When he noticed I spaced out. It's seems he forgot about what happened earlier with max, I was thinking about Max though, like I never thought I would find my mate. It seemed hopeless as much as I moved around states, I remember when me and Zach made a pact when I was 15, back in florida.

Flashback

"Kim I-I don't think I'm going to find my mate so I was wondering if we could try to date," Zach nervously asked.

"Umm-" I had a huge crush on Zach, but we where both mate-less. We been friends since i was 10 and he was 11 for as long as I can remember he's been there for me, I could do anything with him by my side But I thought of something.

"Only on one condition, if I find my mate I can leave and the same for you. So no permanent strings attached," I said confidently, Knowing it wouldn't be just that. I would actually accept him even though we aren't mated.

"Ok Ok, what ever you say,"

he smiled his trademark cocky smile, and kissed me. I moaned while he bit my lower lip for access, and I let him we were having a fight for dominance, and he won. It was getting heated but I knew we would never had sex because of my mate, or lack there of (he would be pissed) but I just couldn't do that to Zack if I don't find my mate my 18 I'll let him deflower me.

I couldn't help but wonder if there was a mate for me still ....

End of flashback

We finally made it, and I walked into the house with Zach hot on my heels.

"Err-I'll talk to you tomorrow," I said before walking into my house trying to close the door.

"We need to talk," Zach said seriously. Walking in behind me.

"Ok," I said Defeated.

I let him walk in with me fully.

"I'm home mom!" I yelled.

"Ok, honey how was school?" she asked from the kitchen.

"Good, I'm a senior now. I've been moved up, because of my test scores," I said proudly.

"Oh, my baby is so smart," she screamed happily.

"Im up stairs if you need me," I said.

"Ok,"she yelled from the kitchen.

Me and Zach made it to my room, and I flopped onto my bed. My room was pretty basic, it wasn't nothing special just a few posters, My tv and a cat bed in the corner.

Zach plopped next to me.

"Kim, did you find your mate yet?" he asked nervously.

"Umm-I don't know, why?" I snapped, stood up and went to my computer, and signed into Facebook.

"It's just I don't know about that Max guy, he seems trouble," he grumbled.

"Why is he so bad Zach? Huh WHY!" I shouted, and through my hands up in irritation. This situation escalated fast i don't know why I was so defensive over somebody I just met it was weird.

"I don't know, I got to go, your acting weird I'll see you at the pack meeting tonight,"

Zach said before walking out. I waited to hear the front close, before locking my door. Taking off my clothes. I cleared my mind, and jumped out my bedroom window. I landed on my paws, it's been a while long sense I changed. It felt all but too good to be back on the ground.

I finally made it back from my run. It was a little after 9 pm. I jumped off the tree, next to my window and jumped though it while shifting back to my human form. I took a quick shower and put on my pajamas.

I went downstairs to find Max eating dinner with my parents.

"How was your nap, sweetheart,"

my mom spoke first.

"Err-good I guess, what are you doing here ?"

I started to blush, because of his lustful stare. Then remembered I was wearing pajamas, To be honest if he was wearing PJs I would be doing the same thing.

"I wanted to meet the new pack members, before the meeting at midnight hill in 3 hours." How ironic.

I went to the table, and sat down. I needed to let him know I still had a boyfriend and this wasn't okay mate or not. I went to grab a plate, and a hand stopped me.

"I got it," Max said,

I felt cold after he stopped touching me, it was weird how addictive his touch was already. He handed me a plate, after dinner I walked Max out to his car out front.

He stopped suddenly, looking serious he asked me.

"Angel, I need you to be my luna of the pack," Max said.

I stopped and thought about how I just met this boy and he already wants me to lead the pack that has over 700 members one of the biggest in the state.

"I-I don't know what to say," I mumbled.

"Your my mate, I've be waiting on you for my entire life, can we at least try slowly to make this work." he spoke sweetly, determined not to lose.

"How can I though, I don't know you, we just met and I just moved in town?" I said continuing with "Do you think your pack members would accept me wholeheartedly?" While poking his chest.

"That's for me to figure out , not you babygirl. It's me and you now, I don't know the difference between heaven and earth when it comes to you"

"I already love you , I've been waiting my whole life for this moment. We should try at the least." He said while staring at me softly.

"O-ok, we can try," I smiled. utterly Defeated and so fast at that by this handsome devil. I have to figure out how to tell him no because what have I gotten myself into already. Smh
