Jenny probably didn’t expect that Giselle would come so uninvited and ran to her seat. 

“Giselle, what can I talk to you about? We don’t need others to interrupt our conversation.” 

“I just think it’s very interesting. What did you say just now? Someone relied on others to get to the top and did something shady?” 

Giselle said with sharp eyes, “Who is it? Tell us so we can avoid such a person.” 

Jenny sneered, “Don’t you know who it is? I thought you knew better than anyone who would do such a thing!” 

“I know? Of course, I don’t know. I think you know best. Why don’t you tell me?”

Embarrassed in front of so many colleagues, Mickey glared at Giselle and said harshly, “What the hell are you going to do?” 

“Nothing.” Giselle said, raising her chin, “Call Mr. Woods now. I want everyone to hear the content of your conversation and know whether I have any improper relationship with him.” 

Jenny said with a guilty conscience, “Who would admit that he has an improper relationship with someone from the partner company? I guess he’ll keep his lips buttoned.” 

“It depends on how Mr. Blake talks to get something out of Mr. Woods.” 

Looking at Giselle’s arrogant expression, Mickey was exasperated. He snarled savagely, “Okay, you forced me. I will call him now! If he admits it, don’t cry and beg me!” 

“If he admits it,‘ll leave the company right now.” 

Mickey had already dialed the phone when Jenny tried to stop him, and it didn’t take long before Hassan’s voice came out. “What’s up, Mr. Blake?” 

“Mr. Woods, our contract has been signed.” 

“Yeah, then you just wait for our appropriation.” 

“Mr. Woods, this cooperation is surprisingly smooth.” 

“Well, thanks to Ms. Ostry!” 

Mickey said in an ambiguous tone, “I know, because of your relationship with her.” 

“What have I to do with her?” 

Mickey hinted, “Mr. Woods, she actually told me.” 

Puzzled, Hassan asked, “What did she say?” 

“She told me why you chose to cooperate with us.” 

Mickey’s words were meaningful. 

Hassan, who seemed to be misunderstood, said under his breath, “Mr. Blake, I didn’t expect you to know that…”
