people you bring tonight.”

For a million, their casual reply was, “I don’t care if you bring humans tonight.”

“Shane, did you sign the contract?” Emmanuel asked.

Shane hesitated, “Manny, can I… not sign it?”

“How can you not? It’s very important for us, and we can’t afford to let it fail. I have just sent you the

terms. Review and ensure to include them in the contract,” Emmanuel stressed the deal’s importance,

unaware of Shane’s internal struggle.

From Emmanuel’s perspective, he believed he had already dealt with Smith. Signing the contract and

confirming the details seemed straightforward, especially with two female assistants available to assist

Shane. What could be problematic?

However, Shane remained oblivious to Emmanuel’s undisclosed arrangements. Upon hearing
