Chapter 27 Betrayed By The Enemy

Valentine Winters P.O.V

I slowly opened my eyes to see Kyle’s hand that was raised to being held by Lucifer with a tight vice grip.

He got up glaring at Lucifer and retreated his hand away from his grip.

“She’s supposed to be deceased the moment we caught her.” He said while looking at me in disgust.

Lucifer came towards me and pulled me up before grabbing my wrist tightly into his hands, leaving me no chance to escape or run.

With his other hand, he pulled off the two sharp electrocute needles that were pierced into my back making me hiss out in pain.

“Michelangelo, Leonardo and Kyle. Pretend this incident never happened.” He ordered.

The ones behind Kyle, Michelangelo and Leonardo I presume. They nodded but Kyle didn’t say nor do anything.

“Kyle.” Lucifer warned.

He didn’t say anything as he stomped away bringing his two hunters along with him.

Lucifer glared at his retreating figure, literally burning a hole in the back of Kyle’s head. That’s when he turned to look at me.

I flinched and he brought me back to the place just a moment ago I thought I would never end up in again.

His room.

He closed the door and let go of my hand before sitting down onto his bed. Tapping his foot onto the floor, his face looked so serious and solemn; thinking.

I didn’t know how to react. My thoughts were to how close I were to escape from this dreaded place. My freedom was less than a mile away.

“How did you get out of this room ?” He gritted each word while standing up and facing me.

I gulped.

He repeated taking careful steps towards me while I on the other hand were backing away from him.

“Y-you l-left t-the d-door o-pen a-and I-I-“ I started before I was cut in.

“You sprinted, stumbling upon my envious foe.” He finished.

I looked down onto the floor, biting my bottom lip. He walked toward me till he was standing right in front of me.

I heard him let out a sigh and he placed his forefinger down my chin, making me look up at him.

Trepidation started climbing in with him being so close to me, I tried to move but he placed his other hand down my back holding me in place.

He leaned his face down beside my ear. “Now tell me, why did you run away ?” He interrogated before going down and trailing his nose up and down my neck.

“I-I I-I” Before I could answer him, his room door busted open and Lucifer growled. Two hunters came in and pulled him away from me holding both of his arms.

“Let go of me.” He snarled at them, his eyes turning pitch black.

“Keep him held” I heard a voice that brought shivers down my spine.

I looked over to see the man that I never wanted to meet again.

Lucifers non-biological father.

My eyes widen as I walked backwards away from him but two more hunters came in and grabbed each of my arms making me stay in place.

“Father, what is the meaning of this ?” Lucifer clamoured.

He just walked in and nodded to someone behind him, revealing the hunter that I met earlier,.

Kyle.

He leaned over the door frame with a smirk plastered onto his face.

“You son of a bitch.” Lucifer snarled attempting to attack him but was held down by the hunters.

“Bring the girl to the woods.” That monster ordered and the hunters dragged me towards the door.

Lucifer trashed around. ”No!” He wailed.

“I know what you’re drafting.” He stated.

He whimpered looking up at me.

The hunters brought me down the woods. For some reason, I wasn’t afraid.

The woods were like home.

It was my territory.

I knew how to escape from here.

I could shift into my wolf.

I didn’t shift before cause i was horrified if any of the hunters might have caught me. When they already have seized me, what’s the point of hiding ?

I could get past them using my werewolf speed.

The only thing that was pestering in my way was Lucifer. My wolf doesn’t want to leave him.

Lucifer Argent P.O.V

I whimpered looking up at her as they brought her away from me. The wolf inside of me became restless.

I looked up to see my two friends or so I thought as they were holding me captive here.

“I thought you men serve your allegiance to me.” I told.

They looked at each other and dropped my arms making me confused.

“We do.” I heard Devon’s voice as he came inside the room.

“Needed to pretend to your father that we’re loyal to him.” On my left, Darren stated.

They pulled me up. “Let’s go save that precious wife of yours.” Devon smirked
