Amanda smiles at all of us, knowing we would love to have her in our Packs.

‘I stand before you as the Power of the Pack. I didn’t want my decision to influence everyone’s choice. I know that my presence will be tipping the scale in strength. The Alpha is, as we all know, the most important factor in the strength of the Pack, and I can make the whole Pack stronger. My choice isn’t based on this gift, my choice is based on my feelings and my wolf. Alpha Igétas and Luna Violet, can I have a place within your Pack?’ She asks but before we can answer, Alpha Tharros starts talking.

‘Amanda are you sure you want to go with my brother? I will respect your decision but know that you are also very welcome in our Pack. I have more warriors to protect you from future danger.’ The nerve of him is uncanny. I want to reply but Amanda beats me to it.

‘I have made my choice. I want to stay with my friends. If you need my services, I am sure that Igétas will tell me and I know that they can protect me in the future.’ With those words, she drops and bares her neck to us.

Igétas puts his arm around my shoulder. ‘Amanda, you are very welcome to join my Pack and be our guide when we need it. If that is okay with you…’ Igétas let his words hang in the air.

‘Yes, Alpha. I will be happy to be at your service.’ She stands and comes over to hug me.

Everyone has chosen and it is strange to see a large group behind Tharros. I thought that they would come to us. That way when they moved they would have less people and therefore less homes to build.

‘It is late. You are all dismissed at this point, we will pick it up tomorrow.’ Igétas tells the new Pack, and some go home. It is almost midnight. Most families with children go to their houses.

‘We are going to have drinks in the canteen, you want to come, Luna?’ Ela asks and it takes a second to reply. I am Luna now. ‘Yes, I will come later.’ She nods and I turn to my mate.

‘I know,’ he said without my asking a question, ‘I think that their wolf sides have forgiven him. Amanda had not only told you about the plan he had. She told it to others too. He isn’t a bad man, Vi.’

‘Yes, I start to see that. But how can we justify that we have the bigger land when he has more people to house?’

‘It was a calculation, we were all off. This was the deal and it stays this way.’ He tells me and I nod.

‘Can I speak to you?’ Tharros asks Igétas and he walks over to him.

‘Do you need me?’ I ask with the invitation to the canteen in mind.

‘No, go. I will be there shortly.’ I nod and go to the canteen.

Zack, Chris, Amanda, Ela and Oliver are sitting with what looks like champagne.

‘There is our Luna!’ Chris cheers and comes over to bow to me.

‘Oh Goddess, are you all still bowing to me? I hope not.’ It feels very strange to have friends act that way.

Amanda smiles, ‘You need to get used to it. Or you need to command us not to do it anymore.’

‘I will keep it in mind.’ I say and she winks.

‘So,’ Zack starts when I sit down, ‘do you two have plans about how we are going to run this property?’

It is kind of unsettling to be in the canteen where all the horrible stuff had happened. It is part of the world I live in now, and I need to ignore it.

‘We have, but there will be a lot of communication with the new neighbors. We will share facilities and people the first months or even years.’

They nod and we go on in a party mood. Happy with them being close to me. After a half hour, Igétas turns up and puts his arms around me.

‘Everything okay?’ I ask. ‘Perfect, are you coming home?’ he asks and I look at my friends.

‘Stay with us a little longer. We are having fun.’ I tell him. The group talks quietly amongst themselves.

He places his face in my neck and breath in my scent. ‘We can also have a little fun.’ He almost whispers.

‘We were actually playing a game. Join us.’ I tell him.

He sighs, ‘Sometimes I wish that we could mind-link.’ I turn around and look in his green forest eyes.

‘Did I do something wrong?’ I think back on what he said and my mouth makes an O-shape.

‘A Little fun?’ I ask back and he begins to smirk.

‘Ahh, Iggy!’

Within a second, I am over his shoulder and he walks out of the canteen. I have just enough time to push myself up a little and see my friends smile and wave at me. Chris makes some inappropriate gestures and my cheeks burn bright red. I just see Ela elbowing him in the stomach and him crunching in pain.

‘Was that necessary?’

‘Yes,’ he answers plainly.

‘Can you set me down?’

‘Yes, but I won’t.’

I use my upper body strength and push myself up and place my legs around his waist, he lets me. My hands link together and I look into his eyes. Vasil is present as well.

‘Can you tell me where we are going?’ I smile at his handsome face.

‘Home, to bed.’

‘Ow really? Maybe I am not sleepy yet.’

‘I am not talking about sleeping.’ He kisses my neck and I get the tingling feeling of the mate bond.

My heartbeat thunders through my chest and he smiles proudly at the way he makes me feel.

We reach our hallway. ‘Can I walk now?’ I ask seeing a couple of warriors standing and talking about tonight’s events.

‘No, and maybe you won’t be able to tomorrow.’ His smile becomes big and I gasp at his crude statement.

We reach our door and he opens it, while still supporting my weight. ‘That is so blunt, mister Alpha man.’

‘Sorry, I didn’t mean it.’ He gives me a shy smile and I smile back at him. He places me in his bed and hovers over me. ‘You better mean it and try.’ I say and take the liberty to kiss his gorgeous mouth.

‘Yes, my Luna.’ He tells me.

For the rest of the night, we didn’t need any words. Our connection is strong and it is like a choreography we already knew and were waiting to dance together. Our feelings were intense and when he looked at me with green-golden eyes, I knew it was time.

His fangs came out and he look in my eyes. I nod and bares my neck to him. He kisses behind my ear, making a path down to my collarbone and back up. He stops where my neck and shoulder connect. He gives me one more kiss before I feel the fangs penetrate my skin. I scream a long high scream. It is possible that everyone in the Pack knows that I am claimed.

He retracts his fangs and kisses my wound. ‘.. you okay?’ I hear faintly, I am focusing on the pleasure he gave me and the beautiful effect of a mate marking you.

The moment he bit me, I felt my body connect with him in every way. It was as if everything I longed for since I was a teenager is gone. I feel completely satisfied.

I don’t know how long I lay there in his arms before I turn to him. His eyes are milky. Is he seriously mind-linking someone now? His eyes snap to me and a smile appears.

‘Yes, I was.’ I look at him in question.

‘Wait, was I…?’ He nods and kisses me. ‘…Yes, it turns out that we can mind-link now.’

‘Wow, can you do it to me too?’ He laughs and hugs me closer.

‘It is best to take it easy now. I just spoke with Maya and she told me she check out your mating mark tomorrow. I don’t want it to be infected.’

I sigh content, ‘You are always so worried about me.’

‘That will never change.’ He promises me and we both fall into a deep sleep.
