She glared at him. "Cut the crap. Are you coming down or not? I'm leaving if you don't want to come down.”

She wanted to walk away but Decker immediately came down from the car.

He walked up to her and asked, "Where are we going?”

Isabel said, "There's a coffee shop in the hotel's lobby. Let's go there."

Decker curled his lips. "Alright."

Isabel was wearing the costume from the set and was walking toward the hotel. Decker followed her with a smile on his face.

Many other crew members spotted her and Decker and they all looked at them curiously.

Some who were closer to Isabel went up to her and asked,” Isabel, why are you with Mr. Rockwell?" Isabel answered honestly, "He's here to talk to me about something.”

The person went off after getting a satisfying answer.

After others saw Isabel's cold reaction to Decker's eagerness, their curiosity faded.

Only Angela continued following them in secret.

Then, a black BMW with Westchester City's number plate came in from the corner and stopped in the parking lot of the hotel.

The man in the driver seat unfastened his seat belt but before he came out from the car, he saw Isabel and Decker entering the hotel together.

His clear eyes narrowed and looked disheartened.

The coffee shop was located beside the hotel lobby and there was a large area of ceiling-to-floor windows at the venue.

Everyone who walked past the lobby or hotel could see the interior of the coffee shop.

Isabel and Decker sat down at the table that had natural lighting from outside the window.

After they sat down, Isabel asked, "How did you know Roland?"

If Decker spoke of Roland upon seeing her and even asked her if she was curious about Roland's background, he must know Roland well.

Decker curled his lips. "What? You didn't hear from Roland about our relationship?"

During the opening dinner for Legend of Goddess, it was Roland who snatched her away from him and Roland

obviously saw him.

Isabel scanned him emotionlessly. "Maybe he thinks it's nothing important, that's why he didn't tell me."

"Hmmmm..." He did not believe her.

Annoyed, Isabel frowned. She grabbed her glass of water and asked, "Why are you humming?" Decker believed if he continued stalling or talking nonsense, Isabel would splash the glass of water in his face.

His eyes flickered and put on a serious look.

He then said, "Roland is my nephew, we're connected by blood.”

Isabel was surprised. She remembered Roland telling her about his family background.

His grandfather relied on his grandmother to become rich but he got a mistress and had a b*stard child. After his grandmother passed away, his grandfather planned to leave all the assets and money to the b*stard child he had.

Then, his father died in a car crash and things shifted in his family. He and his family left Southboro and ended up in Westchester.

Five years ago, Decker spent a lot of effort and investment just to marry Clarice and now it seemed like he did it because he wanted to seize the Rockwell's family assets.

Isabel remembered how she encouraged Decker when they were together and it instantly disgusted her.

"Isabel, what's with that face? Do you know something?" Decker asked curiously when he spotted her reaction.

Isabel looked at him coldly. "No. I just thought dating you is the most disgusting thing I've ever done in my life."

Decker was speechless. Multiple expressions flashed on his handsome face.

A moment later, he regained his elegant composure and said with a smile, "Roland lost to me. He's no longer the young master of the Rockwells. Even if he's the CEO of Carter Corporation, he’s just working for the company. Be it his assets or influence, he's nothing compared to me.

"He could use the Carters’ influence to boost your fame but he can't do it forever. So, Isabel, come back to me."
