Before John could come out of the room, Sherry asked Jason, “Didnt you just drop his luggage?” Jason answered, “Yeah, but I forgot to bring the document that he asked for, so I went back for it.” “But how did you come back so fast?” Sherry thought John lived two hours away.

Jason smiled, “Master Stockton’s hotel is two minutes away. It's directly opposite this building. I don't even need to drive."

Sherry was left speechless.

Opposite the building? Two-minute walking distance?

Sherry squinted.

Why did John claim that a trip back to his place would take two hours last night?

The scenes of him catching a cold a while ago flashed in her mind. Had the man been faking it to win her

John squinted at Jason who immediately realized he had revealed unnecessary details. He put the document down and fled. The door was closed, leaving the couple in a quiet room.

Sherry glared at John.

He pursed his lips as he walked over to her and held one of her hands. She wanted to pull her hand away, but he put her hand on his abs.

“I shouldn't have lied to you. You can punch me if it makes you feel better.”

Sherry was left speechless.

Despite having a layer of pajamas in between, she could feel the warmth on his body and his solid abs

Her annoyance was demolished by the rock solid abs!

She blushed. She looked at him and cried, “Stop trying to seduce me!”

John curled his lips. He whispered, “Then, punch me.”

"Hmph! You really think I won't punch you?”

His smile remained bewitching. “I think you will. Come on.”

Jerk! He wanted her to punch him!

She curled her fist and threw a punch at his chest. However, before her fist could touch him, his other hand caught it in mid-air and pulled it closer to him.

Sherry landed on his broad chest again. Her chin was lifted up to his handsome face, and his lips pressed

against hers.

Sherry widened her eyes.

As though he was afraid she would flee, he held the back of her head and hugged her tightly. He kissed her deeply.

Sherry was enchanted by his charms. She wanted to resist at first but started to soften and then enjoyed it after a few seconds.

Some time later, when things started to get awkward, he released her.

Sherry gasped for air immediately.

John stroked her cheek and asked, “Still want to punch me?”

Sherry gulped nervously and looked at him shyly.
