Chapter 61 

He was more convinced now that his plan is going to work. As long as Alexia asks, they will surely let Kayla go! 

Ray smiled at Alexia when it was just the both of them in the room. 

“Alexia… look at you! You seem to have everything going on for you now! You are even the alphas mate!” Ray said in a flattering manner. 

He really didn’t know how he was supposed to talk to Alexia since the both of them had never had a discussion before. 

“I was beaten up badly and almost raped. My sister was even taking a video of the process so that she can blackmail and shame me in the future. Do you still think that I am living well?” Alexia asked.

With regards to her father, Alexia really didn’t know what she was supposed to feel. 

He is her father..and she really loves him, but he had always ignored her. He didn’t care no matter what Kayla did, 

He just didn’t…..care 

She just wanted his love and care but he never gave it to her. She was always just an extra baggage living in his house. 

“Alexia. I know that you are mad at your sister. But she knows that she was wrong now. She was just mad at you. Micheal and Miles broke up with her and she thought that it was your fault. I already talked to Kayla. She said that they weren’t really going to rape you. They were just trying to scare you. You can forgive her right! After all she’s your sister. You can’t keep being mad at her because of this” Ray said. 

He still had the fawning smile on his face. 

Alexia shook her head. She is the one who experienced everything that day. She knows that Kayla and her friends weren’t joking at all. 

They were really going to rape her. 

And even if they didn’t want to rape her they beat her up until she broke so many bones in her body. 

Is that how to scare someone? 

Alexia may be kind to people but she isn’t an idiot. She knows what Kayla was trying to do. 

“Dad, you know, I broke so many bones in my body. Kayla’s friends beat me up so badly that I broke bones in my body. And she was there watching all of it. Do you really think that it was all just a mistake? Something that they didn’t mean?” Alexia asked. 

She had seen the look in Kayla’s eyes. She was really looking forward to her death. 

Ray was embarrassed. He really didn’t know what to say. 

“No matter what, she’s your sister. She already spent a few days in the dungeon. I’m sure that she’s learnt her lesson at this point. Are you really not going to forgive her?” Ray asked. 

“Dad tell me, are you here because you want to see me or because you want me to forgive Kayla?” 

Ray blushed when he heard that. He wasn’t expecting Alexia to be so blunt, She had always been soft spoken, going with whatever they told her just because they are her family. 

Besides, Alexia is someone who values her family ties a lot, that is why Ray was so sure that she will forgive him and 

convince Miles and Micheal to let Kayla go. 

Now that she seemed to have changed over night and was even exposing him so blatantly, he couldn’t help but feel that his weak and timid daughter had changed a lot. 

Is it because she’s hanging out with Micheal and Miles now? Have the both of them influenced her? 

“You know that’s not true Alexia. You are my daughter. I’m here because I care for you. I haven’t been able to come because I’ve been busy. I immediately came to see you the second I got the chance. You know that I am not lying right?” Ray asked. He was still trying desperately to put on the act of a loving father. 

Alexia shook her head. It’s not as if she doesn’t know what her father is up to. But they are her family. The only family that she has. What else is she supposed to do besides tolerating them? 

“Is that so dad? Then can we please not talk about Kayla when you are here? You know what she did to me. And you also know how she has treated me all these years. This isn’t the first time that she has ganged up with her friends to bully me. They’ve done it countless times in the past. This time. I wifs really scared. I think that they really wanted to kill me. Should I hand my life over to Kayla for her to do whatever she wants with it just because she’s my sister?” Alexia asked. 

She knew that her father will never agree to stop talking about Kayla. She just wanted to see….what he will do. 

Just as Alexia had expected, Ray was fidgeting when he heard this. He was here for Kayla in the first place, so how can he not talk about her! 

“Erm, Alexia, I know that you are angry with Kayla. And I also know that you have every right to be angry. But she’s your sister after all. The both of you are my daughters One of you is in the hospital and the other one is in the dungeon. I just can’t ignore this. What I want is for the both of you to be safe no matter what. So how about you just forgive Kayla? I already talked to her and she’s really sorry for what she did. She even wants to apologize to you. She told me that she must have been possessed then. She just wanted to teach you a lesson and then things got out of hand. Besides, Micheal and Miles came. The both of them were really angry and then the situation just…escalated” 

“Besides, you are fine right now right? Although you are still recovering.. nothing big happened. The two of you should put this behind you and live together as sisters. That is all that I want. To see the both of you getting along as close sisters” Ray said. 

Alexia shook her head as she blinked to fight back the tears that were already gathering in her 

eyes. 

He said that he’s here to see her but he hasn’t even asked about her condition once since he got here. All he’s been talking about is Kayla. 

She is always the one who has to be understanding. She is always the one who has to treat Kayla as her sister. 

As for Kayla, she can go ahead and do whatever it is that she wants with her life. 

What kind of father and sister does she have? She sees this as her only family so she is more than willing to put up of things. But do they see her as family?
