Chapter 55 

“Hey, can you hear what I’m saying? I said that I can’t continue like this with you. I have someone that I like and you are not him Nadia said. 

“Well, the person you like is someone who doesn’t even care about you at all. Hasn’t he always been mated to someone else? Why are you still trying to hold on to someone like him at this point?” Steve asked Nadia. She could see the mocking look in his gaze. It really pissed Nadia off. What does he know about her? Nothing at all, 

But of course, he too, is laughing at Nadia. Everyone is laughing at her for holding on to Axiel when he doesn’t even like her! But that doesn’t mean that she’ll give up! She’s already come this far! She has to do everything that she can to make sure that he becomes hers! She can’t give up at this point! 

“I don’t think that it’s any of your business anyway. Don’t tell me what to do!” Nadia snapped at him. This is all Bella’s fault. She’s the one who told Steve about her love life with Axiel. She had no plans of letting him get to know anything about her 

before this. 

Nadia also have no plans of letting him back into her life and sleep with him again. But Somehow, Bella managed to convince her to go along with it last night. That girl is really bad for her. She really needs to stop listening to whatever she tells her to do! 

“Really? I think that you’re just embarrassed because I nailed it. Why are you so obsessed with him anyway? Isn’t it because he’s the alpha and you so badly want to be Luna?” Steve taunted her. 

Nadia pointed angrily at him. “I said that this has nothing to do with you! Do you know how long I’ve been waiting to be his Luna? I thought that I’d finally get the chance when his parents died and he was left heartbroken. I was there through it all! But what happened in the end? He was mated to someone else. 

“How do 

you want me to accept that? He should be mine! He should belong to me! I am the one who should get to be his Luna! Some weak wolf is taking that away from me and you want me to be calm about it? I’m sorry but I can’t do that!” She said.

“Well, pretending to be a good wolf when you’re nothing like that is not going to help you get him anyway. You’re just giving him an image that isn’t you. And whether you like it or not, he’s going to find out about your lies one day. What will then? How will you keep up with your lies?” He asked her.

For some reason, Nadia felt that Steve was way too interested in her. They’ve only met each other two times. He should not care so much about what she does. 

“We’ve only met each other two times. I don’t think that you should care so much about what I do! Also, like I said, it’s just a one night stand. Let’s not meet each other again!” Nadia said. She can’t allow herself to get used to whatever is going on between the both of them. 

Steve shrugged. “It’s fine by me. I just wanted to know why you were so obsessed with someone who doesn’t like you. You don’t have to tell me anything if you don’t want to tell me. Besides, I totally agree with what you said about this being a one time thing. I don’t want to have anything more anyway since I’m not from this pack” Steve said. 

Nadia have been pressing him for a long time to leave her alone but now that he’s finally going to leave, she felt bad for 

some reason. 

“Oh, you’re not from here? You’re leaving soon?” Nadia asked him. 

“Yes. What? Are you going to miss me?” He asked her with a wide grin on his face. He seemed to be enjoying bringing up all of these emotions from deep inside of her. 

Nadia sneered at Steve. “Don’t flatter yourself Steve. I’m all too happy that you’re leaving now. When do you leave?” She asked him. 

Chapter 25 

Deep down, Steve knew that she was lying, but he didn’t expose her. 

He could see that she was starting to get attached to him on some superficial level. This is good for his plans. 

However, he isn’t going to entertain the idea of anything more between them. 

After all, he doesn’t even like her that much. She’s just a tool for him to achieve what he wants. 

“it’s not right now away though but I’ll be leaving since I’m not from here. I just came here….to get back what belongs to me. There was some hiccups so I didn’t get it. But I’m going to make sure I leave with it!” Steve said with a big smirk plastered or 

his face. 

“Something …that belongs to you?” Nadia asked Steve. She seemed to have figured out that he is talking about a person and not a thing but he couldn’t care less. 

“Yes, I just need a few more days to make sure it comes to me. Why don’t we…keep this going for a few more days until I have to leave? I won’t bother you after that,” Steve said. 

Nadia nodded her head. Steve knows that she likes sleeping with him so of course she won’t reject such a good deal. He’s even sure that she’s way too happy to sleep with him. 

Besides, it isn’t a bad deal for him. He can have  with her when carrying out his plans. No big deal. 

Nadia stood there as she considered her choices. The truth was that, she actually liked sleeping with this man. 

She just didn’t want to get too involved with him because nothing will be coming out of it. If anyone finds out about this, she will only stand to lose the wolf that she really loves. 

But if he is willing to have a good time with her and then leave her alone when the time for him to leave comes, then she doesn’t see why she won’t accept it. 

Sleeping with him is more fun anyway. 

“Are you sure that you aren’t going to spend much time here? And that you are going to leave immediately you are done?* Nadia asked. 

She had to make sure so he doesn’t come pestering her later.
