Chapter 13 

Miles and Micheal walked into the school together. They made sure not to let the principal of the school know that they were coming to the school. 

They didn’t want either Kayla or Alexia to know about it and then try to do something. 

Especially Kayla. They no longer trusted her after they saw how evil and manipulative she could be. 

She even dared to tell lies about their sister and her own sister. They really believed that there isn’t anything that she is going to do. 

Such a person is really dangerous. A person who doesn’t have a bottom line and who will do anything that can hurt even her own sister. Who knows what she will do if she finds out they are coming here? 

She might try to sabotage her sister just to make them see her in a bad light. 

Another reason they were coming was that they wanted to see how Alexia’s life was in school. Miles had noticed that yesterday, she seemed to be emancipated. Like she’s bullied a lot. He just could not ignore it after he had seen something like that. He needs to get involved himself and see to it and set things straight. 

Micheal on the other hand, couldn’t stop thinking about their sister, Jenna. It was clear that she didn’t like her mate Axiel. But she’s forcing herself to not break it off because of them. He felt bad. She’s his sister. She should be able to do whatever she wants. But now, her life has to be controlled by someone else. 

“Micheal…what do you think we should do about Jenna? I really don’t want her to get married if she doesn’t want to. She obviously doesn’t like that mate of hers. Besides, Axiel isn’t a good alpha at all! I don’t even know how a wolf who is as irresponsible as him became the Alpha. He has so many lovers. Our sister is only going to suffer if she becomes his Luna. She wouldn’t be happy. Why does she have to be stuck with a mate like Axiel?” Micheal asked. 

In fact, he wanted to go over to Axiel and beat the living daylight out of him. How dare he treat his sister in such a way? Does he want to die? 

But he also knew that he can’t do that. At least not without Miles’s permission. They didn’t want to get into a war with Axiel’s pack just yet. 

Miles sighed. He too did not like the idea of his sister being with such a person. But he also knew that he could not force her. After all, she’s the one who has made the choice herself. 

He already told her that she can reject him as her mate if she wants but she still insists on him. 

“She doesn’t need to tie herself to a wolf like that. But she’s not willing to listen to me. She keeps saying that she doesn’t want us to go to war because of her. But you also know that we can’t do anything about it as long as she doesn’t want to leave. She’s the only person who can decide to leave that bastard but she doesn’t want to. So well, we can’t do anything but keep talking to her. Maybe she will see reason with us and realize that she doesn’t have to go to such lengths for the pack. We can protect her ourselves!” Miles said. 

Even as he said this, he knew that it was unlikely that Jenna would listen to him. Ever since their parents died, she had become even more sensible, claiming that she wants to help the both of them protect the pack. She no longer cares what happens to her. 

Jenna believes that if getting married is the way she can protect her brothers and her pack, then she will do it. 

“So what? Are we really just going to let it go and wait for Jenna to come to her senses?! You know that’s not going to happen! You know she’s always talking about protecting the pack with us. She really doesn’t care what happens to her at all! And Axiel, that bastard, he has so many women. What kind of life will my sister be living if she continues to stick to him? She will become just one of his many women! There’s a particular she–wolf who’s been with him for a long time! Her name is Nadia. 

I really don’t trust her at all! She has great ambitions and she wants to be Axiel’s Luna! What if she tries to hurt Jenna just so she can be Luna?” Micheal asked. 

If anything happens to Jenna, he really won’t be able to hold back then. He will really kill anyone and everyone who had 

hurt his sister. 

No matter what, he didn’t want it to get to that. He didn’t want to wait till Jenna gets hurt and so he desperately wanted her away from Axiel as soon as possible. 

“Micheal, you need to calm down. Do you think that Jenna is still that little girl who used to follow behind us? She’s all grown up now and I can assure you that she’s not a weak wolf. She can protect herself. She can stand up for herself. If someone wants to hurt her, they’ll just have to think again because it won’t be possible. She’s born to be a leader” Miles said. He had high hopes for his sister. She’s really great. She won’t let herself be bullied for nothing. 

“You think that I don’t know all of this? I know…I know that she’s strong…but I just can’t take chances with my sister! That damn Axiel! Since he has Jenna as his mate, then he should stop playing around! Does he want to make my sister a fool?” Micheal asked. 

The both of them had always been really protective of Jenna. But Miles was more levelheaded. 

He will never show what he’s feeling on his face. 

Instead, he will try to deal with it calmly while thinking of the worst ways to attack his enemy. 

“Between Jenna and Axiel, we have yet to know who’s going to make each other a fool. Seriously, stop worrying so much. Jenna is not weak. If she really can’t handle Axiel and he actually dares to touch our sister, it won’t be too late for us to step in then. The fact that I’m not saying anything doesn’t mean that I’m scared of Axiel. No, it’s because I respect Jenna. I respect her wishes and what she wants to do. I’m watching her. If she can’t do it, I’ll step in and take it from there” Miles said. 

Ruthlessness flashed past his eyes. Axiel should not think of surviving if he really grows the guts to hurt his sister one day! 

Micheal calmed down a lot when Milles said so. “I really hope that you are right. I hope that Jenna knows her place and doesn’t try to do anything stupid by keeping it all to herself” Micheal said. 

A strong woman like Jenna will not want her family to know about her pains.
