Felix could not avoid the attack in tand cried out in pain as he struggled to shake the woman off him.
However, the crazy woman refused to let go, sinking her teeth deeper into Felix's arm.
The pain made Felix lose his composure, and he swung a fist at the woman's nose in a burst of outrage.
A sickening crack could be heard as the crazy woman's nose began to bleed, but she still refused to let go of him.
Felix howled loudly from the pain, and the other men finally snapped out of their stupor to tug the crazy woman away and attack her.
Wilbur stepped forward at once. He threw those men holding the crazy woman aside, then grabbed her and took a few steps back.
Felix cried out in pain, looking absolutely pitiful.
It turned out that the crazy woman had bit off an entire chunk out of Felix's arm.
Felix was both enraged and in pain, clutching at his arm as he seethed.
On the other side, however, the crazy woman glowered at Felix as she began to chew on the piece of flesh she had bitten off his arm, swallowing it right then and there.
The look on the crazy woman's face scared the wits out of the other onlookers.
Even Felix's men and Wyatt could not help but feel a chill run down their spines.
Wilbur's brows were furrowed, looking at the crazy woman speechlessly.
Just then, Felix shouted, "You saw it! They're still being violent in front of officials and police! Sir, arrest all of these people including this crazy bitch!" Wyatt spoke up right on cue. "Mister Penn, everyone saw what happened. Cooperate with the police and go with them." Just as the policemen were about to take Wilbur, Skyler, and the crazy woman away, Wilbur shouted, "How dare you!" The policemen felt a chill run down their spines, stopping in their tracks. Sof them even took two steps back.
Wilbur said, "Felix Cohen has a laundry list of crimes and wrongdoings. This woman's husband and son disappeared because of him, and there was nothing she could do about it. She's even gone mad from the grief but still hasn't forgotten the hatred. But you, Wyatt Malcolm, you're in charge of Twelven Town. Did you speak to Felix about any of this? Did you investigate it at all? Or were you two in cahoots this whole time?" Wilbur's words struck them hard.
Everyone here knew that the crazy woman's husband had died in an accident at the mine, and her son had been poisoned by Felix as well. That was why Lucy had lost her mind and gone insane.
Who would dare to talk about this, though? They would be killed! Now that Wilbur had finally spoken up, the crowd fell silent as everyone looked at Felix and Wyatt.
Wilbur and Skyler shielded Lucy behind them, with rage in their eyes. The sight looked peaceful to the onlookers, but a storm was definitely brewing.
All at once, Felix and Wyatt felt an overwhelming pressure.
Wilbur continued, "The two of you conspired with each other and drained this already poor town of what little they had left. You wreaked havoc left and right at the expense of the townsfolk and even usurped a public fund used to build a school for their wellbeing. You two are absolutely despicable!" Having been exposed continuously by Wilbur made Wyatt finally explode.
He shouted, "You bastard! You attacked all these people, yet now you're accusingwith no proof. That's another crime. Arrest them right now!" The head of the policemen present, a man in his forties, looked fraught with hesitation.
"Arrest me?" Wilbur smirked. "Not only are you unwilling to repent, but you wantarrested instead? Do you really think you're the boss of this place?"
