Before Tasha could finish her sentence, Howard slapped her hard, ruining her makeup. All eyes turned toward them, dumbfounded. Even though she was shocked, Kaylee found a sense of satisfaction-she had not expected Howard to have such audacity. 

On the other hand, Yuffie gazed at Howard with admiration, impressed by his bold move. After a brief moment of hesitation, Talia opened her mouth as if to say something but decided against it. 

“H-How dare you hit me?” After a considerable pause, Tasha shouted hysterically. “You-bastard! I’ll make sure to skin you alive!” 

Before she could finish her threat, two crisp sounds echoed through the room, leaving Tasha’s cheeks swollen. 

“From now on, if you dare call Riley a bastard child again, I’ll make sure you never speak again,” Howard warned with a stern gaze. 

“You…” Tasha attempted to retort, but Howard’s glare intimidated her, causing her to close her mouth. 

“Sir, aren’t you going too far? You’re assaulting someone in front of all these people. Do you think we’re invisible?” The gentleman seated next to Tasha frowned. 

“If you don’t want a beating, you should shut up,” Howard scolded. 

At this point, Albert slammed his teacup on the table, angered. Holden, who is this man? Are you all planning a rebellion?” 

“Dad, he’s Riley’s biological father, Howard Lincoln!” Holden took a deep breath before responding. 

Realizing such an incident had occurred just as his family arrived, Holden had a bitter taste in his mouth. Originally, he had planned to 

relocate there. However, that discussion with Albert seemed 

impossible now. 

“What?” Albert’s anger intensified upon hearing Holden’s words

Hearing this, the Jenkins family members directed furious glares at Howard, almost wishing to rush forward and attack him. For them, Howard had destroyed their chance to climb the social ladder. Otherwise, the Jenkins family might have been flourishing by now!

“Tasha, shut up!” Talia scolded angrily. She then took a deep breath, bit her lip, and turned to face Albert. “Grandpa, what happened back then was my choice. Don’t blame Howard. If you don’t want him here, we can leave. But I hope you won’t speak ill of Riley anymore!” 

“Howard is Riley’s biological father and my fiance. We’ll be married soon!” Everyone turned to look at her.
