Invincible Heir
Chapter 52 Beg Tracy to return

Baron drove Tracy and Lara home, but he didn't stop at the gate as usual. Instead, he drove inside the Perry Manor.

Tracy was very surprised by his move. "What are you doing? Baron, get the car out of here! My mom would go nuts if she knew it. She would not only kick you out but also smash your car!" Said Tracy nervously. She was acquainted with Sherry's temper.

Baron had settled with Sherry this morning. From today, he could live in the Perry Manor with his beloved wife and daughter. But Tracy did not know what happened.

"Honey, it seems you care about the car more than me," Baron amused her.

"Of course. That's a million-dollar car!" Tracy joked.

In fact, the car was specifically tailored, and it was much more than one million dollars.

As she spoke, Sherry appeared, wearing an apron. "Oh, no! She's coming this way!" Tracy exclaimed.

She stepped out of the car immediately, but Baron had walked toward Sherry, with a beautiful wrapped gift box in his hand.

Baron handed Sherry the box, said, "Mom, this is a jade bracelet. I bought it especially for you!"

Sherry was really happy for the gift, but she covered up her real emotion. She hated Baron for a long time, so she couldn't change her tune in a short time.

"Thank you!" Said Sherry indifferently and took over the gift. Then she turned and walked away.

Tracy was astonished that Sherry didn't drive him away!

"Let's go inside! I can't wait to have a taste of Mom's cooking!" Baron said and took Lara in.

"It is unbelievable," Tracy murmured.

But when she walked into the room, she found Sherry not here.

"Where is my mother?" Tracy asked.

Baron shook his head with a smile. "Maybe she is doing the assessment."

"What does that mean?" Tracy was looking puzzled.

As Baron expected, Sherry was in her room at this very moment. She wore the jade bracelet and examined it carefully. "It isn't fake, it is?"

When she saw the price tag, she gasped, "oh my God! It is worth more than $300,000!"

Sherry rubbed it very gently. After a while, she locked it in the safe. She was not relieved until she changed the safe's password.

Tracy asked Baron to go upstairs with Lara to avoid conflict with Sherry.

A while later, Tracy heard their laugh from the room upstairs. "Sweetheart, this is the first time you are playing with Dad at home. I know you are so happy," she muttered. "Where is Baron?" Sherry came in with a dish in her hand.

"He's upstairs with Lara." Tracy was wondering why her mother treated Baron friendly.

"Call him down for dinner," Sherry said.

Tracy couldn't believe that her mom would invite Baron to dine with them.

But when Baron went downstairs, Sherry donned a look of indifference. "I will not wait for you to eat together in the future. Just come here on time by yourself."

"OK, Mom. I'll keep that in mind," said Baron, smiling.

Tracy found the friendly scenes quite odd. Baron just drove inside the Perry Manor, and now her mom invited him for dinner, and they were having friendly conversations, all this suggested that they had gone from fierce enemies to true friends.

On top of that, her mom allowed Baron to move into the Perry Manor this morning. She was wondering what had happened.

"Is something going on with you two?" Tracy asked.

Baron pretended that he had not heard. He put more vegetables in Lara's bowl and said, "You should eat more vegetables." And then he put some meat in Tracy's bowl and said, "you are exhausted by overwork, so you need more meat." "Mom, I'm home!" came the voice of Yuri. From the corner of her eyes, Yuri saw the familiar silhouette sitting at the table. "It's really you. Baron!" She screamed.

Baron smiled and nodded to her.

"Stop shouting and come to dinner," Sherry urged.

Yuri was completely confused by what she saw. Her mother and Baron were staying on good terms!

"Tracy, what's going on here?" she muttered to Tracy while Sherry left.

"I don't know exactly," Tracy answered.

Yuri didn't get an answer, so she turned to Lara, "Lara, you know what's going on?"

The little girl shook her head, "I don't know. Dad stayed with me the whole time."

"Could anyone tell me what's going on?" Yuri said helplessly.

At that time, Sherry came back and sat down. She said, "well. it's my turn to make an announcement. We should give Lara a family that is complete. So, Baron will live here from this day forward." "What?!" Yuri shouted and spat out her water.

But others were not surprised by the words, for they had been informed this morning. Tracy was just curious how Baron made it?

As of right now, they heard the sound of a car stopping outside. "I think it's your father," Sherry said unhappily.

"I'll get the door." Baron said and went out.

While he opened the door, he saw Phillip standing there, with many gift boxes in his hand. His other arm was still in a sling.

"Baron!" Phillip was so surprised to find out that it was Baron who opened the door.

"Baron, is Tracy home?" Phillip suppressed the anger at the thought of his task.

"Yes!" Said Baron shortly. He had guessed what Phillip wanted from Tracy.

"OK, I'll go and see her." Phillip said and was about to step in.

"Tracy is the manager of Samho. She is too busy to see you." Baron said coldly and closed the door.

"As I said, the Perry family would beg Tracy to return the family one day!" Baron muttered to himself.☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐
