I got married without you (James and Amelia)
Chapter 38 Tore the Report Into Pieces

Amelia tore the report into pieces and threw it into the trash can so Eva would not see it.

She turned around and wanted to push the drip machine back to the ward, but she saw more than a dozen luxury cars suddenly driving in from outside the emergency room. A group of bodyguards in black suits exited the car and escorted James out.

He hurried into the hospital with Emily in his arms.

When Amelia saw his anxious look, her heart slowly sank.

She remembered that she came to the emergency department because of a heart attack when she was with him.

What kind of reaction did he have then?

She remembered that he was standing by the bed and looking down at her, who was curling up in pain.

He contemptuously threw her a bank card as if she were a beggar.

He felt she was pretending to be sick to gain his sympathy and

get more money from him.

Thinking of this, Amelia suddenly smiled, and her eyes were full of lears.

No matter how aggrieved and unwilling she was, she still turned around with a stiff pace.

He had said to never appear in front of him again, and she would comply!

For the remaining time, she and James would never see each other again, even if they were to meet.

The footsteps behind her were getting closer and closer, and each step stepped on her heart, making her feel pain.

When James passed by her, he didn't even look at her. It was as she had expected.

This heartless man didn't care about past relationships,

especially since they didn't have any romantic history between them.

Amelia raised her chin stubbornly to prevent her tears from falling. It was just a man who had dumped her. It was not a big deal.
