In a magnificent hotel room, there came the intermittent voices of a man and a woman. 

After a while, Madeleine leaned on the bedside with a cigarette butt between her index fingers and took a puff. 

The man next to her held her in his arms and said softly. “We haven’t seen each other for a long time. You are not as good as before. It seems that life in prison is not very satisfactory.”
