The following day, Ellis took the kids to spend the time at the

penthouse, and I was meeting up with David tonight. I wore a long cream-white silk dress and heels. I let my hair cascade down my back and went downstairs.

My time with the Kofflin was cordial. However, there was tension between Nonna and Didi against Darlington. It was kind of entertaining to watch them send jabs at each other. From what I gathered, Darlington and Didi have been best friends since high school. She married the Kofflin family at an early age, and Didi also wanted to be part of the affluent family, but there were no more men in the family, so she seduced Nonna after her husband died. They got married a few years ago.

Darlington was furious about their union and ended their friendship.
