Amelia's POV

After our breakfast, Xavier suggested that we start with the pack paperwork and I agreed. Surprisingly we didn't have much paperwork, which I was glad.

"Stop staring at me." I said for the 51th time. "You can’t blame me. Its your fault for being so beautiful” he said with a grin.

I blushed and shook my head. I continued the work, ignoring his stares, which was very difficult. He wouldn't stop staring no matter how many times I tell him.

Finally we were done with our job. I sighed putting the pen down. Xavier laughed. He came and stood behind me and start massaging my shoulders.

I blushed. "You don't have to." I said pushing his hands away. But he insisted and kept on massaging my shoulders. "I want to."

"Come on. I have a surprise for you.” Xavier whispered in my ear. I turn around excited. "What is it?" I asked excited. He just chuckled.

He grabbed my hand and started leading me outside. I followed him like a lost puppy. He brought us out of the palace and went inside the car.

I looked at him confused. He started the car and we left. "Xavier, where are we going?" I asked confused. I looked between him and the road.

"Its a surprise, little one." he said chuckling. I gave him my best puppy face. "No. No. You are not giving me that face. Please, don't do that.”

I huffed and turn around crossing my leg and pouting. He quickly leaned in a gave me a peck in my lips as I looked at him surprised.

"Pout one more time and I am pulling over the car.” he said huskily. I quickly pulled my lips into a thin line and kept quiet.

I laughed knowing how he would reprimand me. I looked at Xavier's plate which was empty. But when I looked at Xavier, I frowned.

He seemed rigid and tense. "Xavier? What happened?" I asked him worried. In a flash, he had me straddling him. Me in between him and the table.

He was gripping onto my waist a bit tight to my comfort. "Xavier? What happened?” I asked again. I was confused by his aura.

"You lived with other males? In the same house?" he asked with heavy breathing. I don't understand. I nodded my head in confusion.

He quickly put his lips on top of mine. He started kissing me harshly. I was shocked. It wasn't like the others. This was fierce. Harsh.

After some time he pulled away. "You are mine. Mine, My little one." he said looking into my eyes. His eyes they were different, fierce.

He started kiss my neck harshly, leaving hickey. I tried to pull away from him. I didn't like seeing him like this. It was scary.

He was placing fiery kisses in my neck. It was painful. I let out a whimper at one point. That seemed to bring him into his sense.

He pulled away and was looking at me with shock. My eyes was glistening with tears. "Little one, I'm-" 1 didn't let him continue.

I pushed him and ran to the bedroom and locked the door. I heard him knock the door. “Little one, I'm sorry. Please let me in." he pleaded but I just sat there.

He kept apologising and asked me to open the door. Few attempts later he stopped. I was sitting down sobbing.

After an hour I decided to open the door. The moment I open the door, Xavier stood up from the floor. I stepped out while facing the floor.

He quickly pulled me in for a hug. "I am so sorry Little one. I didn't mean to." he continued to apologize. I just stood there not knowing what to do.

"Why did you do it?" I asked him out of nowhere. He sighed sitting down in the floor. "Because, when you mentioned of living with a boy, I got possessive." he said sighing again.

"Honestly, I am scared." he said running his hands in his face. I sat down next to him. "Of what?" I asked questioningly.

"That you will leave me." he said looking at me. "Why didn't you leave me?" He asked, making me shocked. "What do you mean?”

"After everything I did, you stayed. You could have left me, and be with any other guy. But you went through all of that.” he explained.

I smiled softly. "Because I love you, Xavier. So much.” I said honestly. He looked at me with shock. "No one, and I mean no one loved me the way you do.” he said making me tear.

"Please don't ever leave me. Ever.” he asked desperately. "I promised you, Xavier. I will never leave you. Not even if you ask me to.” I promised him.

"I am never letting you go." he said smiling at me. "I am sorry also.” I said facing down. "Why?" he asked shocked. I sighed.

"For not being able to be comfortable with you. I promise I'll try." I said being honest. "Little one, we can take all the time. Don't ever worry about that ok?" he smiled at me.

I nodded my head. We went back to our room and went straight for bed. We were both too tired. I was happy to be in the arms of my mate.
