His Favored Luna

Greyson’s POV

My Luna is something else, I prayed to the moon goddess for a strong Luna and she gave me one. Autumn just keeps surprising me at every turn. I try to rise up and dominate her, but she said there is only one place she will be submissive, but as my Luna she will be my equal. I question how two can be leaders when it is only meant for one to lead, isn’t she supposed to be the example of submission? That is what my mother was as Luna, a leader in submission, the rest of the pack following her example to submit to my father’s rule. Well all except Autumn, she never went out of her way to disrespect my father and he was always allowing her to get away with her not submitting to him, she was the only one. I think he may have known that making her submit wasn’t an option. Anyone else would be punished severely. I his own son would have been punished for things she got away with. I bet he is regretting that now. She is calling the shots and my mother is agreeing with her. When my father asks if I approve of this, she quickly takes back control.

After our meeting with my dad we went back for a quick session in the bedroom and showered and went to go for a run, we sit at the falls and I ask her about the moon goddess and how she can easily tap into that direct line. She tells me to sit and to block my mind of everything except the moon goddess she sits in front of me holding my hands. The moon goddess voice is strong within my mind.

“Alpha, blessed above others, what can I help you with?” I am humbled with her presence, I internally ask her how I am supposed to lead with Autumn as my equal. “With one soul, many alphas have forgotten the concept of mates, you see Alpha, you aren’t complete without your mate, she is your balance, if you were alone it would be like trying to guide a boat with stroking the water on only one side, you get no where, but turning in circles, with your mate by your side, she balances the strokes and keeps you moving forward. She is weak without you just as you are weak without her. Together you are a force to be reckoned with. Do not lead as two individuals, but lead as one soul, after all, that is what mates are, two beings with one soul.” I take this information in and it is like clarity washing over me, seeing the world for the first time. She’s right many have forgotten what a Luna can do for a pack.

When I open my eyes I see Autumn laying on the ground, I lean over her and ask if she is alright. “Yes, just being in her presence takes a lot out of me. Lay down with me. Please?” I go and grab a shirt from the closest tree and bring it to her. I lay down next to her and we stay like this for a while, until she gets up and gets into the water with the shirt on. I just sit back and watch just how beautiful and blessed I am with the gift of her. My other half, my soul. She holds on to the edge of the rock and dips her head back and I can’t stop myself, I have to join her. I took her in the water, with her straddling me, I bent her over some rocks and took her from behind, I even took her against a tree, I have so much love for this woman I can’t get enough of her. My wolf ascends wanting to be the one to take her, she is so unique, she and her wolf are always one now, you can see the difference in her eyes. The way she makes love is more passionate as well, she let’s her animal enjoy the moment more and howls out at her climax not caring that anyone knows what we are doing.

We moved into the pack house to be closer to the youth who live there, Autumn has been talking with the young unmated girls and boys about saving themselves for their mates. She said we need to be more hands on with teaching the pups the morals. I always thought that it would be up to the parents and that we might be overstepping, but truth is, in our world each alpha lays down the law in his territory and some packs have laws against unmated sex. Our pack has had an underage rule, but once a pup turns 18 it has been acceptable for them to become sexually active and Autumn says that it is too common, that the underage limit should be raised and we should encourage young adults to go to the mating meetings and we should hold one too, I agree in the fall.

The shift houses will be completed by then and Autumn loves the season she was named after, she is talking about pumpkin patches and hayrides and apple bobbing and fall harvest and mating games for new mates and for finding your mate. During daylight hours will be for the smaller pups and at night time will be for the older pups. Food, music, dancing, and lights she says “we will need to stream lots of party lights” I smile at her enthusiasm over planning a party.

The next week we reach out to our ally packs and talk to them about our mating party and Autumn picks the date. She is busy with the other women in the pack planning and preparing. Of course we will have boundaries to keep all our unmated females safe. I will lay down the law concerning mating with those who aren’t your intended mate. The only way that will be acceptable is if you are twenty-one, your mate has rejected you or has died. I do not want to deal with the drama of jealousy and rejection, not in my pack, if I could hold off from the unmated she wolves throwing themselves at me, surely my pack can control themselves too.

Things are moving along just fine and my dad had completed a new training room for the women in the pack and we decide that we will hold a memorial ceremony for Autumn’s parents and name the training center after her mom, of course this will be a surprise for Autumn, I have been working with my dad on this matter while she has been going between the dungeons to interrogate our “guests” she wants to know what pack they are from and they are refusing to say, they know that once we find out that a declaration of war is next and they will lose, she keeps trying, wanting to tap into their mind link hoping one of them will slip up and mention their pack name or something they will say something that will lead us back to their pack. She spends hours down there and comes back with nothing that will get us any closer to our enemies. Sometimes she goes down in the middle of the night. I still have to get used to her running patrol every now and then. The pack is getting used to her as well, I let everyone know that Autumn and myself are a united front, that if she puts out an order they are to obey it as an alpha order and not question it, I am at peace, it seems everything is going great until I get a phone call from a human female I dated back before I knew Autumn was my mate, she contacted me wanting to meet me for coffee, she tracked me down by some of my pack members. I tell her that I can’t meet her that I am married now, and she texts me back

‘Well, I didn’t want to tell you like this, but I’m pregnant’

My world just came crashing down around me. A human pregnant with my first born pup? Oh this can’t be good, what will Autumn do?
