Lysander let out a deep sigh. “You may use the money first.” 

“So, you’re really going to have a child for him?” 

“He’s gone mad, not me,” Lysander said. “So Daphne, you need to pull yourself together, stand tall, make a lot of money. Then we can pay him back, with interest, in the future.” 

Upon hearing this, Daphne couldn’t help but laugh. “Forget it,” she said. “I’ve given it a try recently and I’ve realized that I’m simply not cut out for business. Even my dad has given up on me.”

She reckoned these items were probably prepared by Carol. 

However, the brand and size of the lingerie must have been informed to her by Josiah 

Lysander slipped into a pale yellow dress and casually gathered her loose, long hair. With her phone and room key in hand, she then headed downstairs. 

She was in a state of emotional turmoil. If she continued to confine herself in her room, she feared she might fall ill from the suffocation.

Lysander wasn’t particularly interested in flowers, but to figure out Amelia’s intentions, she deliberately strolled toward the corner. Then, as Amelia followed her into the greenhouse, she suddenly turned around, effectively trapping Amelia inside.
