Chapter 36 Queen Asalea's Pregnancy

King Timodore immediately embraced Queen Asalea's body as she fainted. He shouted for the Glodeous Doctor to help her. She carried her and in a flash, he was able to lay her back, flat on her bed inside her former room in the Knostican Palace.

"Dr. Marvoo, why, what happened to the Queen?" King Timodore asked with so much worry on his face.

Dr. Marvoo just smiled and extended his hand to their King to congratulate him. "There is nothing to worry about my King; this is actually good news for the Kingdom of Glodeous. Our Queen is pregnant. Congratulations King Timodore! Your first heir is soon to be borne."

King Timodore could not speak. He suddenly remembered his dream. His ability to foretell through his dreams did not fail him once again. Slowly a smile curve into King Timodore's lips until it became laughter; laughter for the unimaginable joy that he is feeling right now.

Dr. Marvoo smiled widely too as he announced to everyone inside the room not to worry as the Queen is fine. "She needs to rest and relax," he advised King Timodore.

After a second, Marshall came rushing inside the room. He was at the kitchen, checking if they still have enough food for all the visitors when the commotion happened on the dance floor.

"King Timodore, what happened to the Queen please?" anxious, Marshall asked as he entered the Queen's room.

"She is fine Marshall. I will announce later, why she fainted." Smiling, King Timodore replied to Marshall who nodded while looking at Queen Asalea sleeping on the bed.

"Marshall and Dreckos, please guard and take good care of the Queen. Everyone outside is waiting for my announcement about the Queen. I will be out for a couple of minutes to inform them." King Timodore stood up from the Queen's bed after giving her a light kiss on her forehead.

Both Mashall and Dreckos nodded to the King's instruction.

Everyone outside became silent as King Timodore arrived and walked in front. They are all expecting to know what happened to Queen Asalea.

"Everyone, there is nothing to worry about Queen Asalea. She is fine. She is just experiencing some symptoms of the early stage of her pregnancy." Smiling, King Timodore announced.

"Wow!" almost all echoed in unison and then they applauded to rejoice for the good news.

King Timodore and Queen Asalea stayed in the Knostican Palace for two days, before they followed back Dreckos to the Glodeous Palace.

"Marshall, we entrust to you the Knostican Palace, we will return after a couple of days. Everything here is complete including palace maids, cooks, guards, and soldiers. I will leave Elbeo here to be your assistant." King Timodore tapped Marshall's shoulders after saying all of these words and nodded at Elbeyo.

Elbeo is one of the trusted soldiers of King Timodore. He has seen his and his father's loyalty to him and to their family.

"Worry not, King Timodore and Queen Asalea. We will take care of the Knostican Kingdom." Marshall promised as he bowed his head as a sign of respect to the King and Queen of Knostica. Queen Asalea gave Marshall a quick hug and smilingly thanked and praised him. "Thank you Marshall my friend, for everything. If your parents are still alive, they will be so proud of you."

Marshall smiled back at Queen Asalea and then looked at King Timodore. “Queen Asalea, please take good care of yourself more and King Timodore, I am not worrying anymore; I know our Queen is very safe when you are around."

"Thank you Marshall. We will go now. Elbeo I trust that you will help Marshall here. For any concern; please let us know immediately." King Timodore stated before he bade goodbye.

The news about Queen Asalea's pregnancy already reached the knowledge of Toremo and Sulie. Toremo cursed in total abhorrence but Sulie stayed calm and collected.

Sulie looked at Toremo with her mind thinking for something. "Toremo, this will be our time. King Timodore will be very busy then taking care of his pregnant wife plus all his obligations both in his businesses in the Knostican Kingdom and of course here in Glodeous. We need to look at how we can be able to build our own group of vampires. We can choose which to take over; would it be the Knostican Kingdom or the Glodeous?" her wicked smile formed slowly in every curve of her lips.

Toremo quickly shot Sulie with his eyes that are now shining with hope. "Sometimes, I wanted to feel lucky to have you around Sulie. You are brilliant!" he exclaimed as he suddenly gave Sulie a tight hug. "We will win Toremo, we will win," Sulie murmured.
