After all, Agnes hadn’t seemed to be acting in the garden maze.

ust as Valeria had insinuated.

What scared Jared even more was that Agnes was willingly standing by such a man, and h 

e didn’t even know their relationship

Once Agnes got into the car, she hung her head, her face filled with remorse. “Kearney, I’m sorry, I messed up today.” 

Kearney chuckled, turning to face her. “I should thank you for today. I’ve secured the proxy rights.”

Because when she and Jared returned to the castle, she hadn’t heard them discussing business.
