In the early winter season, the weather became colder and colder. I was wearing a white woolen coat, sitting by the window, watching the falling leaves outside. 

The phone vibrated. Greta sent a message in the group chat: “Girls, it’s snowing! Let’s go out and play!” 

Cecelia sent a crying face emoji and replied, “I wanted to go too, but in a couple of days, my company is having a celebration party, and I am in charge!” 

Greta replied, “Did your father treat you as a daughter or as an employee? Go protest!” 

Janessa replied, “Celia, come on. Work hard to become a strong woman and support the three of us in the future. I support you.” 

Greta replied, “Jan, Syl, come on. Let’s go to the bar first and see if there are any handsome guys. If there are, we can invite a few of them to play an escape room game, and then go out for dinner. After that, we’ll just go home and sleep. Perfect!”

“Sylvia, are you available to chat with me for a moment?” Ruben stared at me. 

I was a little flustered by his gaze, but I still agreed to come down..
