I spoke up, “Yes, Jan. We are your best friends, as close as your family. Do you trust us? No matter what happens, we will always have your back!” 

Cecelia nodded. “Yes, we would never harm you!” 

Janessa’s face changed, as if she sensed that something bad was about to happen. But then she forced a calm smile and said, “What are you talking about? Of course, I know you wouldn’t harm me. In my heart, you are my good friends.” 

Greta and I exchanged a glance. Then, I took out my phone, opened a video, and placed it in front of Janessa. 

Janessa stared at the video. Soon, her little face turned pale. 

“Jan…” I couldn’t bear it in my heart. The truth was truly too ugly. The happy marriage she had always yearned for was destined to be destroyed at this moment. 

Janessa suddenly stood up. She looked at us and opened her mouth. Before she could say anything, she suddenly fainted.
