“Really? Do you really want to come with me?” Janessa asked. 

“Yes. I will go with you if there is a suitable chance. What else do you think I can do?” I once thought about working as a primary–level worker in my family’s business. However, that was not what I wanted. Now my parents were in good health condition, and I didn’t need to take care of them. So, I wanted to chase my own dream. 

Janessa patted her thigh. “I always want you to go with me. You were once the most popular girl at Aroma University, and everyone knew you were good at playing the cello. It will be a waste of your talent to be a housewife. Don’t worry. I will recommend you as a performer if there is an elegant concert.” 

I smiled. “Okay. Thank you. I will pay for the bill tonight. Let’s have fun.” 

After drinking, I waved goodbye to Greta and others and was about to go home. 

I called Marcel and asked him to drive me home. After I put down the phone, I heard a familiar voice. “Sylvia?” 

I turned around and found it was Ruben. 

“Why are you here, Ruben?” I asked 

“I did a part–time job here, and I just finished my work. Sylvia, did you drink?” Ruben seemed to have smelled the alcohol. 

I covered my forehead with one of my hands and nodded with sickness. I felt so dizzy that I almost fainted. “Ruben, can you drive?” 

Ruben answered, “Yes, I can. If you can’t drive now, I can drive you home.” 

“What a kind boy!” I thought. Then, I threw the car key at Ruben and told Marcel not to come. 

“Sylvia, is … this your car?” When Ruben saw the black Panamera, his eyes were filled with surprise and admiration. 

Men always loved cars, no matter how old they are. 

I answered while still feeling dizzy, “Yes, that is my car. You can turn 

on the navigation system and send me to the Maple Villa.” 

“The Maple Villa?” Ruben was shocked again. He knew how expensive the Maple Villa was. 

“Why are you so surprised? I feel so dizzy.” I saw Ruben’s surprised look and got close to him. I leaned myself against his shoulder. It was a good way to seduce him.

Ruben came back to his senses and found we got closer. He held my arm to support me and blushed. “Be careful, Sylvia.” 

It looked like Ruben and Emilia had very similar personalities. They wouldn’t be moved by money. Ruben could stay sober while being seduced by a rich woman like me. 

I pretended to be drunk and smiled. “You are so nice, Ruben. Your girlfriend should live a happy life with you, right? However, look at me… I have a bad marriage, and all I have is money. This car is the most ordinary one in my family. If you like it, you can have it.” 

Frederic once sent his mistress cars and houses. Now I could also send Ruben a car. It made me feel comfortable. 

“No… You are drunk, Sylvia. Let me drive you home.” Ruben shook 

his head and helped me get in the car

“Here are the orange juice.” Kira put the juice in front of me and greeted Frederic respectfully. “Mr. Hudson.” 

Frederic glanced at Kira coldly without saying anything. 

I sat up and smiled brightly at Frederic. “Did you also drink? You can have some orange juice. Kira, please bring me more juice.” 

Kira nodded and went back to the kitchen. 

“No.” Frederic didn’t touch the juice 

I felt glad. Frederic didn’t know these orange juice were made by Emilia’s mother. In the future, he had to work hard to please Kira. 

Now he was cold to Kira, and Kira would be cold to him when he wanted to marry Kira’s daughter. 

Kira brought more juice. I said to Frederic, “I woke Kira up and let her prepare the orange juice. You really should try them.” 

Kira answered hurriedly, “It doesn’t matter, Mr. Hudson and Mrs. Hudson.”
