Chapter 419 Danger Is Coming

Late at night.

Charlotte and Joe were sitting in the conference room of Smith Group, watching the screen.

The UAVS purchased by Smith Group were very small, and the cameras on them were high-definition. Even at night, they could see what was recorded clearly.

The UAVs first circled the hotel. Perhaps it was because the hotel had just opened, and there was no one staying inside. Although the lights were bright, it was very desolate.

After the UAVs searched around, they didn't find anything unusual.

Charlotte frowned and said, "Can you get the UAVS to look around the cliff below the hotel?"

Joe glanced at the technical director next to him, who quickly controlled the UAVs to fly over.

As the UAVS slowly approached, Charlotte's brows furrowed even more tightly.

In the video, the bottom of the hotel was nailed with a lot of steel bars and steel structures, which were used to lift it.

"Have you recorded all these scenes?" Charlotte looked at the technical director next to her, who quickly nodded.

After he left, Charlotte said to Joe, "Although the row of steel bars below seems to strengthen the hotel, in fact, the cliff can't withstand the pull of steel bars and steel structures at all. I'm afraid that it won't be long before the rocks on the mountain wall crack, and then..."

Joe's expression turned serious. "Are you sure?"

Charlotte nodded and said, "I found that there was something wrong with the design drawings before, so I asked someone to measure the structure of the mountain there. It turned out to be like this." Since she knew about it, she couldn't ignore it, but the problem was how to deal with it.

"How long do you think this hotel can last?" Joe frowned as he looked at her.

Charlotte thought for a moment and said, "It's okay if no one has moved in, but once it's fully run, I'm afraid it can only last for three days at most."

Joe thought for a moment and said, "We can contact Mr. Brown first. Since he knows it's dangerous, he can't just sit back and watch."

Charlotte nodded. Although she found out about it, she didn't intend to get involved too much. It was already her conscience to report it to the leaders of Atlanta.

But what caught them off guard was that the next morning, before Charlotte and Joe had time to inform Mr. Brown, they received another piece of news.

The high-level leaders of the city all went to the Resort Hotel for a meeting.

"Can't you get in touch with their mobile phones?" Charlotte frowned.

Joe lowered his voice and said, "Not only the officials of this city will join in the meeting today, but also the inspection team sent by the higher-ups..." Charlotte suddenly understood that Mr. Brown couldn't cancel such an important meeting if there was no real evidence.

"Maybe it's not that bad?" Even Charlotte didn't believe it though she said so.

Although theoretically, the hotel could last for three days, no one knew how many people had gone to the hotel today and if it would cause a crisis in advance.

"It seems that we have to go there." Even if they asked their assistants to pass on the message, Mr. Brown might not believe it. They had to go there in person.

Joe was silent for a moment before saying, "I'll go. Wait for my news at home."

Charlotte disagreed and said, "Even if you go to the scene, how can you explain the pile of data to Mr. Brown? It's too late to invite other people now. As long as we don't enter the hotel, it will be safe." "Then I'll come and pick you up right now," Joe didn't hesitate any longer and said decisively.

Along the way, Charlotte was a little uneasy. She always felt that something would happen today.
