Chapter 25 Ask for His Help 

Maxwell had been with Gideon last night and didn’t go home. He was just about to head to the company this morning when he saw Camila leave the hospital. He had wanted to go over and ask where she was going, but he had taken the Bentley out last night and was afraid Camila would be suspicious, so he didn’t approach and tailed her instead. 

Seeing Camila get into Dewitt’s car, Maxwell looked away with his hand clenched tightly on the steering wheel, nails pale. Then he punched the steering wheel. 

In the car, Dewitt took out 16 thousand dollars in cash and handed it to Camila, instructing her to first make up for the missing company money.

In the room, Gideon ate soup while asking Camila what she thought of Maxwell.
