Poem 12 - Ruined

I’m crying, I’m worried,

I don’t want to ruin our friendship, what can I do?

I know you’re under pressure,

I know you’re not as sweet,

I know you act unfair towards me,

I know you don’t seem to care about me anymore.

Still, I care about you, because you’re my friend.

I don’t want to ruin our friendship,

I don’t have a choice.

It’s on you how you react.

You refuse to listen to what I say; you don’t like disagreement,

I’m just a human too; I’m trying to be kind,

Can't take it much longer, I can’t believe I’m crying because of you,

It’ll be better if we aren’t friends anymore.

Not knowing how to tell you, your stress crawling onto me,

It’s not easy.

I don’t feel as calm with you,

My other friends are alright; you’re the one of blame,

I have to learn how to say no.

If you keep this then we shouldn’t be friends anymore.
