Briana laughed, “No need, last night was just an accident.”

If it hadn’t been for Norma hearing about the car accident last night from an old friend, Briana and Maxim were both prepared to keep it from her.

“How could that be acceptable? I don’t trust your driving! What if there’s another accident…”

“No, don’t worry, Grandma.”

Norma, unable to persuade Briana, turned to the silent Maxim beside her, irritably saying, “Don’t you care about Briana at all?! It’s so dangerous for her to drive alone, won’t you advise her?!”

Maxim looked at her helplessly, “Grandma, Briana is an adult now, she can make her own decisions about these things.”

“I rebandaged it for you.”

“Good.”

Briana skillfully redressed his wound. After finishing, Maxim put on his clothes and looked at her, casually asking, “When did you learn medicine?”

“Before returning to the Schneider family, I spent two years in the mountains learning medicine from a master.”

Looking at her calm demeanor, Maxim wanted to ask where she learned her impressive skills from, but after a moment of hesitation, he didn’t continue to ask.

If Briana wanted to tell him, she naturally would have. Pressing the issue now might even affect their relationship.

Just as she had finished dealing with the discarded gauze and such, Briana’s phone began to ring.

Seeing it was Tyrone, she frowned, and only answered after a while.

“Mr. Moyer. did you need something from me?”

Maxim, who was reading a document on the side, paused, his gaze unconsciously falling on Briana, his ears perking up.

Hearing the detachment in Briana’s tone, a flash of loss flickered in Tyrone’s eyes.

“Um, there’s an issue with the contract between the Moyer Group and MY Corporation, are you free now? Let’s meet to discuss.”

Briana pursed her lips, thinking that she needed to completely let go of her thoughts about Tyrone, otherwise it might cause more misunderstandings in the future.

“Alright, send me the address, I’ll be right there.”

After hanging up the phone, she turned to find Maxim staring straight at her, causing Briana to frown.

“What’s wrong? Is there something on my face?”

Maxim gritted his teeth, irritably saying, “You know exactly what I mean, don’t you?”

“What did that mean?”

“Why did you meet Tyrone off-duty! He had ulterior motives towards you!”
