Poem 14 - I'll forget

I now see that I was used,

I believed you were the right person,

But deep inside knew you're wrong,

And I ended up so bruised,

You broke my heart and killed me inside,

Your words led me on,

You never truly cared, pictures is all you've wanted,

So I let your wishes be granted.

I became comfortable with awful things,

For you, my love for you was strong,

Everything I've done for you was wrong,

Please, I wish I could just forget.

How you broke me from the inside,

You don't know the pain,

All my efforts and time ended in vain,

Now I see you've never loved me,

Why waste your time with sweet words,

How could I not see it?

Your words were sweet, your actions so bitter,

I wish I realized you never loved me,

I want to forget about you and me,

Please, it hurt deeply,

I ended up bruised; I was used for your awful acts and greed,

Led on by your words, put down by your actions,

Excessively complimented, not seeing it's wrong,

I wish I wasn't so blind and could see,

You just weren't the right for me,

There was no reason to fight for you,

I shouldn't have chased after you,

I should have known you'll break my heart,

And you never knew what you put me through,

You never cared or loved me; why pretend?

I was a little toy, used by a miserable perverted boy,

Even if it hurts bad, it makes me still feel sad,

I'm about to forget, please, let me be,

I'm glad you're not returning to my life.

Trapped inside my mind, I became so blind, believed I couldn't do anything,

You used my low self-esteem,

You let me down, you broke my heart, you made me lose my mind,

And I'm not allowing you to do it again.
