Christopher walked beside them and the three walked next to each other. When the housekeepers behind them noticed the situation, they could not help but discuss it. 

“Have you noticed that recently Mr. Hayes has always returned home whenever Ms. Yeager has classes?” 

“Yes! I also found out that there’s something about the way Mr. Hayes looks at Ms. Yeager sometimes.” 

“That’s right! I noticed it as well. Besides, just look at how they’re walking together. They look just like a family.” 

There was an intense discussion among the housekeepers, and yet the three in question were unaware of it. 

Half an hour later, the car stopped outside a high–class residential area. 

Like a gentleman, Christopher opened the door for Josephine after getting out of the car. 

In response to such an elegant and warm man like him, Josephine merely gave a smile. 

In fact, she was still not used to being around him. 

The three got into the elevator. Soon, the elevator stopped on the 18th floor. Christopher then rang the doorbell. 

A short moment later, the door was opened. 

A handsome young man opened the door. He smiled at Christopher when he saw Josephine and said, “Finally, I understand what you meant.” 

Looking up at the man in front of him, Christopher motioned to that man not to talk nonsense. 

“Come on in, please.” Upon noticing Christopher’s glance, the man took the hint and hurriedly invited them in. 

Once they entered the place, the man invited them to sit down and served them some water. 

After sitting down, Christopher introduced them to each other. The man then looked at Josephine and said bluntly, “I heard from Christopher that your are interested in purchasing my home.” 

“Yes.” Josephine nodded. “I have the intention of doing so.” 

However, Josephine swept a brief glance at the living room and the refurbishment when she came into the house. It seemed very luxurious to her. If the place was that cheap, she would definitely buy it. 

“Okay, I’ll show you the overall environment first. If you’re sure about purchasing this house, you can sign the contract right away.” As he spoke, the 

man got up. 

Josephine stood up and went to look at every room. 

She was very much satisfied with the place. 

After viewing the place, the man sat down and looked at Josephine before asking her, “What do you think? Are you satisfied with the house?” 

In fact, he was sure that Josephine would buy it. 

After all, the price was right for that house. 

Josephine replied, “Yes, I’m very satisfied with it.” 

She was truly pleased with the place. 

As a matter of fact, Josephine could not wait to sign the contract and buy it right away. 

“I’m glad you’re pleased with the house. I will draw up a contract for the house later, and once you sign it, you can pay the deposit. After that, we will go through the legalities for house purchase,” the man said with a smile. 

“Okay.” Josephine nodded. 

Two seconds later, she added, “In terms of the price…” 

At that moment, Christopher spoke up. “Considering Josephine’s sincerity, just offer her a straightforward price.” 

The man, too, did not beat around the bush. He looked at Josephine and said, “Since you’re certain that you want to buy this place, and I’m in a hurry 

to sell it off, I can reduce the price by another 7,500 dollars. How about it, Ms. Yeager?” 

As soon as the man finished his words, Josephine was shocked and dumbfounded. 

Her heart was pounding because of the excitement. 

The price was lowered by 7,500 dollars, which was quite a huge amount for her. 

Just as she was about to agree to the price, Christopher’s voice rang out. “30,000 dollars.” 

“This is too much, Christopher” Upon hearing this, the man immediately objected to it. 

Josephine looked at Christopher in shock. 

Chapter 58 

He had actually urged the man to lower the price by 30,000 dollars all at once. 

“Just agree to it, Mr. Luther. It just happens that Ms. Yeager needs to purchase a house, and you’re in a hurry to sell it off. 30,000 dollars is nothing to you, isn’t it? Just say yes, all right?” 

“Just think of it as a favor to my Daddy,” Yvette said cutely as she tugged the man’s arm. 

The look on her face was truly adorable. 

In particular, Yvette’s beautiful, big eyes twinkled, as if they were as pretty as the stars. 

“That’s right. You’re not short of money anyway. Christopher chimed in. 

The man was rendered speechless. 

“All right, both of you won over me. I’ll just reduce the price by 30,000 dollars.” The man finally agreed. 

Hearing that he agreed on the price, Josephine was so excited that she did not know what to say, so she quickly thanked him. 

Christopher said, “It’s decided, then.” 

“All right!” The man smiled helplessly. “Remember to treat me to a huge meal.” 

“No problem!” Christopher smiled. 

Josephine immediately agreed to sign the contract and paid the deposit. The house would be handed over to her a month later. As for the rest of the matter, Christopher had promised to take care of it. 

At that moment, Josephine was so elated because she finally had her own home. 

She was thinking that once the formalities were all settled, Yennefer would be back from her business trip. 

She and Yennefer finally had their own home. 

As for Ragnar, there was something very unusual about the relationship between Dorothy and Ragnar. Thinking that perhaps Dorothy would take care of Danny and Manny in the future, Josephine did not want to get involved in that mess. Thus, she believed that her agreement with Ragnar would end 

soon. 

After everything was settled, Christopher took Josephine and Yvette home. 

After getting in the car, Christopher received a text message on his phone. As he picked up his phone to read the message, the corners of his lips curled into a smile. Shaking his head, Christopher replied with an “OK” and put the phone away. 

Coincidentally, Yvette was sitting next to him, and she happened to see his expression as well. 

Consequently, she moved her dark, lively eyes around. Immediately, she came up with an idea. 

She then said, “Ms. Yeager, shouldn’t we celebrate next?” 

Josephine’s mind had drifted far away since she was still feeling elated. She did not come to her senses until she heard Yvette’s voice. 

Looking at Yvette, Josephine then replied, “You’re right. Your Daddy helped me a lot. I’ll treat both of you to dinner.” 

Upon hearing her words, Christopher’s expression did not change much. 

Yvette hurriedly continued, “Ms. Yeager, I would really like to try the dishes you make. Can we celebrate at my house tonight?” 

After saying that, Yvette looked at Josephine expectantly, hoping that she would agree. 

Josephine hesitated for two seconds and finally nodded. “All right, then. I’ll personally cook for both of you. What would you like to have, Yvette?” 

“Ms. Yeager, as long as it’s prepared by you, I will like it.” 

“You’re so sweet with your words.” Smiling, Josephine reached out and pinched the tip of Yvette’s nose. 

She then looked at Christopher and asked, “What about you, Mr. Hayes?” 

Hearing her address him as “Mr. Hayes“, Christopher frowned slightly. “Aren’t we friends? Why are you still calling me Mr. Hayes?” 

Josephine was taken aback when she heard his words. She then smiled and said, “I forgot.” 

“I’m not picky about food. I’ll eat whatever you cook,” Christopher added. 

Josephine said, “Okay, I got it.” 

No one said anything until they returned to Christopher’s villa. 

As soon as they entered the house, Josephine went into the kitchen, put on an apron, and got to work. 

Meanwhile, Yvette sat with Christopher, and both of them looked at Josephine, who was busy working in the kitchen. 

“Daddy, Ms. Yeager is really a nice person, right?” Whenever she saw Josephine, Yvette could not stop talking about her. 

Deep inside her heart, Josephine loved and cared for her as much as her mother did.
