Chapter 28 

Ragnar also felt puzzled. 

“I have mysophobia, and actions like kissing will have me exchange so many germs in the mouth. Am I going crazy? Why do I want to do something so 

disgusting?” he thought. 

The next day, Josephine did not see Ragnar. 

According to the housekeeper at home, Ragnar went on a business trip again. 

She was not bothered at all. 

Without the man here, she felt more at ease. In addition to her own work, she would visit the villa every day and look after Danny and Manny. 

In the villa, as a full–time maid, Tatiana approached Danny and Manny as soon as she was free. 

One day, she came to Danny and Manny’s rooms again. 

“Hannah, aren’t you always taking care of the twins? That Josephine does nothing, so why does Mr. Levine value her?” 

Hannah Walter was the babysitter who usually took care of Danny and Manny. 

She glanced at Tatiana and said, “How can I compare with Ms. Yeager? She is a professional nanny. I need to follow her arrangements for the twins.” 

“Do you have nothing to do now? If you don’t, go to Conner and let him give you something else to do.” 

Hannah was in her forties. She was loyal, honest, and meticulous. She did not have any ulterior motives, unlike Tatiana. Instead, Hannah was sensible. 

“Tch!” Tatiana was indignant. 

“What a professional nanny! I think she’s just a normal babysitter like us. She only has a fancy label and knows how to market herself. That’s how she caught Mr. Levine’s attention. Look at the treatment she was given! She can go out and work during the day and come back at night to play with the twins for a while…” Tatiana rambled on provocatively. 

“I’m so jealous! Why does Josephine get such treatment? She works the least, yet she gets paid 15,000 dollars monthly! Mr. Levine also thinks highly of her!” Tatiana grumbled inwardly. 

Hannah was irritated. 

She went straight to Conner and told him what Tatiana had said. 

Tatiana was in disbelief. 

“Is Hannah stupid? I was standing up for her!” Tatiana thought. 

“Tatiana, come here.” With a cold expression, Conner lectured, “To work in this household, you must first learn to behave yourself. The Levine family does not need those who gossip behind their backs.” 

Tatiana immediately acknowledged her mistake and said obediently, “I was wrong, Conner. Please forgive me this time.” 

“I promise I will work hard! This will never happen again,” she swore right then and there. 

True to her word, Tatiana seemed much more behaved later on. 

However, it was the opposite on the inside. She was still envious of Josephine, thinking of ways to drive her out of the Levine mansion. 

“And that Hannah, too! I have to get rid of her too, and I’ll take her place after she leaves. Then, I’ll take care of the twins and with Mr. Levine…” Tatiana wondered.

Chapter 28 

Tatiana thought about it every day. 

One day, she came home and saw Charles “Did Josephine abandon and dump you, Charles?” 

Tatiana huffed through her nose coldly 

Before Charles could respond, she answered herself, saying, “I knew this would happen. That woman applied for a job in the Levine mansion with a charming face and wants to seduce Mr. Levine while she works. She thinks she has finally climbed to the top, so she looked down on you and dumped 

you.” 

Charles expression turned icy. “Don’t talk nonsense!” 

Tatiana was indignant and said furiously. “What nonsense? Was I wrong? It’s true that she broke up with you. Also, I saw her being intimate with Mr. Levine while I worked in the Levine mansion! She’s so shameless that she had Mr. Levine hug her!” 

Charles‘ face darkened. 

He said coldly, “How could Ragnar fall in love with the likes of her? I might believe you if you said she seduced the Levine family’s bodyguard.” 

Tatiana became anxious. “How could you not believe me, Charles? I swear, I’m telling the truth. I’ve seen her throw herself into Mr. Levine’s arms several times. Next, she kept bugging Mr. Levine to carry her upstairs with the excuse she was in a cast.” 

“What’s more…” Tatiana spoke confidently, vividly describing every detail. 

Charles frowned as his expression grew increasingly unpleasant as if someone had cheated on him. He thought, “Did Josephine truly go to work for the Levine family as a nanny because she’s the same as the other shallow women? Did she really want Ragnar?” 

Charles remembered the luxury car that picked up Josephine that day. 

“Could it be Ragnar was in the car that night? How could that be possible?” Charles pondered. 

“That can’t be!” Charles said with certainty, “Josephine isn’t that kind of person.” 

Tatiana pursed her lips. “If you say so.” 

She asked, “Tell me, what happened between you and Josephine?” 

Tatiana returned this time to understand everything. She wanted to work with Charles and achieve her goal of kicking Josephine out of the Levine 

mansion. 

When she went back to the mansion, Tatiana deliberately blocked Josephine’s path when no one was around. “Don’t leave first. I have something to say to you” 

Since Tatiana became a maid in the Levine mansion, she had never shown courtesy toward Josephine. Tatiana had been picking fights with Josephine with the strangest excuses. 

Josephine ignored ther 

“I have nothing to say to you.” 

Josephine was about to leave when Tatiana blocked her again. “Heh. I wonder why you suddenly abandoned my cousin. It turns out someone wants to be a mistress. Nevertheless, people must be self aware and know their places. No matter how one racks their brains, they will never be enough to reach what they shouldn’t aim for.” 

Josephine merely glanced at Tatiana and continued to ignore the latter, Josephine had nothing to say to someone with twisted morals, 

Yet, Tatiana grabbed Josephine. 

She stared at Josephine and questioned her with her hands on her hips, saying, “Confess, Josephine. What happened between you and Charles? Who gave you the right to dump him as you like?” 

Chapter 28 

Josephine said coldly. “It’s none of your business.” 

“Why is it none of my business?” Tatiana glared at Josephine. “You dumped my cousin and came to seduce Mr. Levine! You must give the York family an explanation!” 

Josephine smiled. 

Her dark pupils gazed at Tatiana. “If you truly want an explanation, why don’t you ask Charles how he cheated on me?” 

Tatiana was speechless. 

She knew Charles was with Valeria now 

“So what?” she thought. 

“Valeria’s dad is a tycoon, and her family is rich! You can’t help Charles in anything, but she can make Charles become a vice president. Since he’s so excellent, he should be with Valena.” 

Josephine simply chuckled. 

She knew there was something wrong with Tatiana’s morals.
