Destroyer
Chapter 6

Not a human. He still felt like a hell hound and he wasn’t a human. It took him a moment and he looked up.“N-N-No! Close eyes!” He saw that Caroline was ready to look through the mist to see what he turned into. She squealed and covered her face.

He touched his lips wide eyed. He spoke like a real person. He had lips and hand like a real person. He made sure she wasn’t looking and stood up. He had markings on his body that seemed to be like the ones he had as a hound. He had legs and arms and everything that a human would have.

He looked down his legs and lifted a brow. He eyed his body down there and leaned down.“I shall ask later...i have to...get her back.” He spoke aloud and smiled. He looked at her once more and looked at himself.“Being like this in front of child is bad…” He stated and looked around. He thought of his hound and soon he shifted back into a hound. He nudged Caroline and she smiled at him. Her eyes told him the world was going to be okay. That he would be loved.

“Yay…You save me.” She smiled and he nodded. He pushed her to her feet and lead her some ways to the pack. He sniffed the ground to find a clothes stash. He began to dig and caroline looked at him with a curiosity. He took the bag of clothes in his mouth and shifted behind a tree. He didn’t know how he shifted, he only thought about his new form and he was human formed.

He put on the clothes and looked at his body. The shirt was a bit tight and the jews had been tight around his groin area and he felt awkward to walk.“Caroline?” He spoke to her and she popped up.“You’re destroy?” He nodded and smiled. “May i?” He looked at her to pick her up. She nodded with a smile and he picked her up bridal style. He wasn’t sure why at the moment, but she was...the greatest thing that happened to him that day. He met her and now he was normal. Normal as he wanted to be. She giggled and placed her hands into his hair.

“I like your hair!” She giggled and messed with it.“Uh...thank you?” He told her. He was happy that she could hear him. He knew others would hea him also and it made him realize he could talk to Archie. As he walked back onto the main grounds he saw a small group of people.

“Daddy!” She hoped from his arms and Caroline ran towards her parents.“Oh my god Caroline!” They both shouted and grabbed their little girl.“Baby what happened?!”“Destoro saved me from bad wolves!” “You mena destroyer? Where is he?” Caroline pointed her finger at destroyer. He was admiring his hands through the sun and everyone turned their head at them.

“What? Baby that’s not-”“He came from steam! After he got the bad guys he then started to turn into steam and there he is! He can do what you do daddy!” Archie gave Caroline to Charlie and walked up to the unknown man.“You. Who are you?” Archie glared at the male and he looked at him. He didn’t know who this man was and why he had his daughter and he couldn’t believe this was Destroyer.

“A-Alpha…” He spoke and was unsure of what to say.“Im...My name is Destroyer. You gave to me.” He did a bow and looked at him.“It is...great...no. An honor? To meet you? I mean i already have, but as...this?” He spoke and he looked behind him. Archie was confused.

“Ah...right. I thought that this would confuse you…” He placed a hand on his chin.“Right.” He walked closer and whispered in his ear. Archies face changed and looked at him.“You’re...Destroyer?” He nodded once more.

“Wow...holy shit. Holy shit.” Archie brought Destroyer into a hug and looked at him. He was a full grown man like any other.“Wait. How?” Archie asked and Destroyer thought and it hit him.“Caroline…” He whispered and Archies eyes widened.

“Hey, let’s get you to Jake first.” Everyone looked at the two. Charlie was mystified at what her daughter was telling her. Archie took Destroyer to Jake and he was telling the truth. Jake checked that he and Destroyer where the complete same. Unknown to why and how he shifted.

“How did you shift? Or what do you remember?” Destroyer had been messing with different tools and sat on his feet downwards. “I remember...I save her from the wolves and made sure that she didn’t see me tear them apart. I then saw her and looked at her…” He then stopped for a moment and he had a glint in his eye.

’I saw her eyes and the world stopped. I could see me...as this. And her...she was...beautiful. She told me it was okay and then...this happened.” He looked at himself and then back at his hair.

“Alpha i think what he means is…”“I know.” Archie furrowed his brows for a moment.“Hes mated...to my daughter.” He clenched his jaw for a moment.

“Hm? I cannot be. Hounds are to be alone forever. Only subject to serve their master...me serve you. You are my friend...yes?” Destroyer asked him softly and look up. Archie sighed and sat down beside him. He was significantly taller than him and alot buffer. It took him a moment to get comfortable and began to explain to Destroyer what his shifting meant.

As destroyer listened he couldn’t believe his ears. She would love him unconditionally? She would be his when she came to the right age? He shook his head and paced.“No.”“N-No?!”“No. I am not good. I am...not good for her. She is a child and i am a horrible person.”“Of course shes a child. That’s why...when it gets to a certain time you have to leave. There’s no changing that.” Destroyer looked at him and took a large sniff of air.

“I thought...i would be alone forever...No one would love me...for me…” He said to himself.“It’ll be okay. I promise. If anything starts getting weird you just come to me. I know you and i know you won’t become someone who i would regret being friends with.” He nodded and ended up hugging him.

“Destroro!” Caroline looked at Destroyer and she hugged his leg. He wasn’t sure what to do so he froze and looked at her. Charlie gave him a sickening look and Archie pulled her to tell her what was going on. “Thank you…” He bent down to her and smiled.“You wanna see my drawings?” He nodded and gripped his hand and began to run towards her room.“Uh...okay.” He watched as she pulled him to her room.“Look! This one i drew of mommy and me! Then daddy and me! Then mommy, daddy, and me!” She gave him the papers and he sat down at her little table. Her was adorable to him and he smiled. He remembered she wasn’t afraid when she saw him in both forms.

She ran to her toy box and placed a tiara on his head and gave him a tea cup.“We can draw!” She giggled and gave him all the drawing tools she had. For some time they had drawn and he had watched her as she got tired. He only watched how she acted until she rubbed her face.

“Are you tired?” He asked and she nodded.“W-wai...lemme finish.” She hid the drawing from him and she finished and handed it to him. The drawing was of him and her and it was labeled ‘New best friend’. He looked at her and she closed her eyes. He couldn’t help but get happy at the drawing and held it to his chest.

He looked down to her ad set it down. He unfolded her bed and placed her down to sleep.“Thank you…” She mumbled and turned away from him. He placed the picture down and walked out of her room. He thought for a moment and moved himself down the stairs. His heart fluttered in happiness and he looked around.

“Hey. Dee.” He looked over to see Archie and he walked to him,“Archie...She called me her best friend. Can i have two? You’re mine?” Archie nodded and placed his hand onto his shoulder. The height difference made Archie uncomfortable and clenched his jaw. He pushed him to sit down while he stood.

“So...I have been wanting to ask you...what what really-”“What i went through in hell? As a hound?” He asked and Archie nodded.“Well…” He paused and furrowed his brows.“Actually what i went through was different thing then here. My masters where demons and we guarded the humans and people that were sent down to be tortured. We never slept or eaten. No need to and...some would die rapidly and some would de slowly. The hounds of course.”

“The worst part was when it came to breed season.” He then picked atb his hands. When he opened his mouth to talk he heard his stomach make a noise.“Uh...yes so as i was…” His stomach grumbled once more and he poked at it.

“What is with this?” He asked Archie and Archie got up to get something from the fridge.“You Are hungry. You’ll also need sleep and exercise and good hygiene now.” He handed him some food on a plate. He slowly began to eat it and he inhaled. When he began to eat it was like heaven. After being finished he looked at the plate ad inspected it.

“Well it getting late y friend. I’ll get you set up.”“No im fine. I can just sleep as myself. Or my other self.” Archie shook his head.“No NO. We have to get you a room and some new clothes.” Destroyer nodded to hi suggestion.“Yes. New pants also please? These are...very tight in the middle section of my body.” Arche just blankley stared at him and grumbled.“Yeah...lets go.” He didn’t notice and just followed to him to his new room and looked around. His room was quite big and it had everything he would need so far.

“I thank you for everything. You didn’t need to do this.” He smiled at him and he nodded.“Well since you’re going to be my future...son in law...and since you’re my best friend i should help you get the best.”

“Get some sleep okay?” He told him and closed his room door.For the first time in forever in his life. Destroyer had a shower. He ate actual food. He has a mate that would love him in the far future and he had a bed to sleep on.

When he showered he seemed to stay in for a long time. Testing out the cold and hot water. When done with his shower he looked at his hair and put it into different styles. I loved having long hair and the beard on his face looked amazing. He would need someone t teach him to shave and the natural hygiene.

He hen got on some sweat pants and a shirt. He looked at himself and smiled. He was like other people. He could feel his cheeks rise in a smile. He smiled for himself. He looked at the white bed and slowly moved himself on top of it. It was warm and soft and he had never felt anything like it. Closing his eyes he finally saw what he had always wanted to see in his sleep. He saw dreams.
