he hadn’t heard his apology, his eyes glued on Victoria’s body. 

Meanwhile, the doctor continued his assessment. Once he finished, he removed his 

glasses and reported, “Mr. Morison, it seems that this lady only has some external 

wounds, and she should be fine everywhere else.”

“Who are you?” Victoria asked once more. This time, her words were clearer, and the look in her eyes slowly became dubious as she stared at Bane.

explanation for her question, he stared at her nonchalantly before finally asking, “Do 

you remember the reason why you came looking for me?”
