most people had already left.

After receiving the address, Victoria hung up and drove straight toward the address on 

her phone. 

Alaric must’ve taken the twins away. He was with them at noon, and he didn’t go to 

work all afternoon either. It’s evident what he intends to do by taking Nicole and 

Nathan.

when she saw the spotless carpet, she ultimately grabbed the slippers from the shoe 

cabinet before entering. 

The place was so quiet that not a soul could be heard. 

At that, Victoria gazed around with furrowed brows, doubting whether Alaric really lived 

here. How can there be no servants?

realized why she would be there. However, his eyebrows furrowed immediately. “What
