An hour later, the doctor gave Victoria a health report. “He has severe gastritis,

She took the report from the doctor, unable to comprehend how conditions like 

malnourishment and severe depression would appear on Alaric because he had 

always been omnipotent to her. Also, he seemed to have never gotten sick or 

suffered health issues. 

After glancing toward the ward, she asked the doctor, “What’s the next step for him? 

Is he going to be hospitalized?” 

“According to the patient’s condition, I recommend he get hospitalized for better

“How did he get such severe gastritis?”

Cadogan have a past together, making such a big deal of it is unnecessary, right? 

Are you alright?” 

Once he finished his rants, she helplessly spoke up, “Can you hear me out?”

He chuckled in response and said nothing. 

“Has Alaric’s assistant left the company?” 

“Yes. He left half an hour ago.”

After hanging up, Victoria remembered something and searched through her bag.
