As dusk settled, Victoria slowly regained consciousness after being asleep 

for a long time. 

After waking up and taking in the dim yet somewhat familiar surroundings, 

she silently looked around for a while. Once she realized where she was, a 

warm feeling flooded her chest. 

She was at Summer’s house. 

While she was lost in her thoughts, she heard a sound from outside. 

Summer soon pushed open the door and walked into the room. When she 

noticed the silence in the room, she murmured to herself, “She has been 

sleeping for so long, so why hasn’t she woken up? Nothing happened to her,

“Summer.” 

She lit up upon hearing her name, and she immediately rushed toward 

Victoria. “My precious, you are finally awake!”

As Summer spoke, she anxiously reached for her phone to call for an 

ambulance. 

However, Victoria stopped her as soon as she took out her phone. “No! 

There’s no need for an ambulance. It’s just that my chest suddenly doesn’t 

feel that good.”
