Afterward, Victoria found time to go to the restroom to relieve the

“You can just tell me that you want my phone number. We have known 

each other for too many years for you to beat around the bush.”

As she spoke, Bane flicked her outstretched hand. “You insisted on paying

“If you still feel bad about it, you should resign and come work at the

her gaze ended up not leaving the couple. 

The woman in the man’s embrace was not Sandy. Instead, it was a 

mature and powerful–looking career woman.
