Everyone was dumbfounded by his actions.

Alexander stammered, "W-What is going on? Why did Dr. Thompson give him a bow?"

"Didn't you say you were the one who invited Dr. Thompson over?" Patrick spun on his heels to holler at Alexander.

"Dad, I went there that day, but I didn't even manage to see Dr. Thompson. He even destroyed my car. You were too busy, so I didn't have the chance to explain things to you. Yesterday, when Dr. Thompson showed up, I thought you found out that I failed to get him to come and ended up extending an invitation personally!" Alexander explained truthfully.
