After Harold said that, Isabella ran to him straight away and tugged at his arm.

She looked at him meaningfully as she gestured for him to zip his mouth.

Brandon fumed, "Who do you think you are? How dare you interrupt your elders?" He then turned to Benson and went on, "Since when has your daughter become so cheap, Benson? Why had she married such an ill-mannered bastard? It seems like you and your wife have failed to discipline him. How disgraceful!"

Prior to that, Brandon was already quite displeased with Benson because the latter made Edward come all the way to invite Isabella and her parents back to their residence.
