Logan pulled out a pack of cigarettes from his pocket, lit one, and handed it to Addrion. 

Addrion took a long drag, then slowly exhaled. His voice raspy, he continued, “I had no idea why I ended up there. I resisted and got beaten up until I lost a kidney”
