Maverick got up, carried her and exited the room.

At midnight, after Maverick had tired Jeslyn out, he left the bed and went to his study room. He took out the token and checked it. There was nothing but some irrelevant numbers written in bold on the body. Maverick observed the token for a while before realizing it could be cracked open. It took him long minutes to finally open the token.

The token lit up and inside it was a drive and a key. Maverick plugged it into his laptop and waited for some commands.

After the thing loaded and did what was necessary, the first thing it did was to ask for fingerprint.

Maverick did as told but he was brutally rejected and called unmatched.
