Chapter 106 - Luca's New Low

A Few Days Later.

Lacey's POV

“I can't believe you've talked me into doing this Lacey"

"It's the right thing to do, Logan and you know it"

As I weaved my way through broken glass, broken furniture and trash amongst other things, I finally managed to find my way to the den

which was filled with neon lighting, the air was thick with the scent of stale ale, old food, grease and a smell that I can only describe as one

that belongs in a bathroom and the floor was littered with numerous different alcohol bottles and old takeaway boxes

This place looks more like a frat house for a bunch of immature college guys and not the home of a billionaire's son who is married with

Tlooked around the room which in my honest opinion has seen better days until my eyes landed on the passed-out and half-naked body of

my brother who was slumped on the couch, one of his legs was on the floor, the other one was resting on the back of the couch and he had

one of his arms thrown over his face

After giving my brother one last look, I left the den and headed back towards where I'd left Logan who was still holding Melissa in his arms

and he was talking to two girls who I assume are the kid's nannies

After gathering a few things for the children, Logan leaves the mansion with the kids and their nannies and 1 immediately put my plan into

motion

Luca's head maid frantically ran towards the den with tears streaming down her face and her body was shaking as she approached her boss

and tried to rouse him

“Mr Carpenter, wake up, please wake up"

She shook Luca's body several times but when he barely made a noise

let alone any movement, she went over to the bar and filled a bucket up with cold ice water before going over to Luca and throwing it on

her face

Lacey had given her permission to wake her boss up by any means possible and there was no way she was going to waste this golden

The maid wasted no time in throwing the cold water and hard ice cubes on her boss's face who immediately woke up and started cursing
