Chapter 954 Spirit Power 

Logan didn’t ask any questions the last time, but this time, he simply couldn’t hold back 

anymore. 

Emrys looked at him in amusement, asking, “You want to know?” 

Logan’s expression instantly turned stricken with fear, and he stuttered, “No… I didn’t mean to offend you, Mr. Lund. Please forgive me!” 

Every cultivator had their own secret techniques. Since they were secret techniques, it was only natural that they couldn’t be revealed casually.

“You’re right, Mr. Lund. I’ve learned much.”

Logan paused for a moment before adding, “Mr. Lund, can you now retract your spirit power? I have finished experiencing it.” 

“Oh, I forgot to mention that I’m still not unskilled at controlling spirit power. I can only imprint it but not unimprint it.” 

That struck Logan speechless. 

You can only be imprint but not unimprint? Doesn’t that mean that my life is now in your hands? 

Upon hearing that, he stumbled and nearly toppled to the ground. 

You played me for a fool! 

“Why are you wearing such a grim look? Do you think I went too far? You’re putting me in a difficult position here!” Emrys said with a hint of melancholy. 

I was merely Joking 

Logan hurriedly forced a smile even more unsightly than a tear–streaked face and said, “Don’t be angry, Mr. Lund. I wouldn’t dare harbor any resentment toward you.” 

“Did I ever threaten you?” 

“I… don’t think so.” 

“Don’t think so?” 

“Absolutely not! I willingly acknowledge you as my master, Mr. Lund. From now on, my life is in your hands!” 

As things had come to that, Logan couldn’t do anything else. He could only sigh in resignation and fell to his knees on the ground, 

With that, Zephyr found himself feeling surprisingly appeased. His murderous intent toward Logan dissipated in an instant. 

Since I’m losing my dignity, we might as well experience it together. 

Emrys waved a hand and said, “Stand up. I was merely joking with you earlier. There’s no need to take it to heart.” 

Joking? What does that mean?

“The imprint is real.”

Emrys continued, “The joke I meant is that I don’t actually need you to pledge your allegiance to me. Things can continue as they were. As long as you don’t bother me anymore, the spirit imprint wouldn’t matter.” 

He simply sought an additional layer of insurance. 

As long as Zephyr and Logan didn’t attempt anything sinister against him, he couldn’t be
