Chapter 875 Killian Versus Emrys 

The more irritable Killian became, the more ferocious his wild sword technique grew. 

Meanwhile, Emrys seemed much calmer in contrast. He stood there in silence, his face hidden behind a mask, making it impossible to discern his expression. All that was known was the cold indifference in his eyes and his composure, undoubtedly due to his confidence. 

Killian simply couldn’t understand where Emrys’s confidence came from, seeing that the latter was a good–for–nothing who had just managed to break through the Foundation Stage. Emrys‘ calm demeanor only served to fuel his growing anger. 

“Stop putting on an act and drop dead!” With a mighty roar, Killian suddenly lunged forward. 

The broadsword he carried on his shoulder swept out in an instant, and the clear, distinct sound of the heavy blade slicing through the air, causing it to explode with a thunderous boom, could be heard. 

He played his trump card right off the bat. It seems like he was genuinely furious at that time, and it was uncertain to him how many moves the Sword King inheritor could muster against him. 

The people around were all astounded as they watched. 

A sudden pang of dread seized Ruben’s heart. He had suspected that Killian would likely strike hard, but he hadn’t anticipated the ferocity of Killian’s attack. Killian had acted so swiftly and ruthlessly that he didn’t give Emrys any chance to prepare.

His broadsword’s afterimage layered upon itself, carrying with it the powerful master level sword energy, sweeping outward. Finally, the sword energy peaked, merging into the blade. The countless overlapping sword shadows suddenly exploded.

Like a thunderclap on a clear day, the domineering shadow of the sword shattered, transforming into countless terrifying whirlwinds. Those winds wildly whipped up Emrys clothes, making him appear like a solitary flatboat helplessly adrift in the storm. 

Upon seeing that Emrys did not dodge, Killian let out a sinister, cold laugh. “Indeed, such a fool!” 

In the next moment, his figure pierced through the fierce whirlwind. His sword, filled with murderous intent, came crashing down heavily toward Emrys‘ head. 

The method Killian favored most for tormenting others was to wield his heavy sword with overwhelming force and strike it toward his opponent. 

In that attack, he showed no mercy. His wild strength was entirely channeled into his heavy sword. He was certain that that strike would be powerful enough to make Emrys‘ head explode like a watermelon. 

“D*mn it!” The color drained from Ruben’s face in an instant. Who comes out swinging with a royal flush right off the bat? 

Time was of the essence, and Ruben seized the opportunity to make his move. 

However, just as he was about to make a move, two forces, not a bit weaker than his own, shot through from two different directions, locking him in place. 

“Mr. Ruben, why the rush? Don’t you have any faith in the inheritor of Sword King?” Caden’s slightly cold voice suddenly echoed. 

Devon also said, “Haha, Mr. Salazar is absolutely right. The inheritor of Sword King surely has his unique strengths. How could he be defeated so easily? Killian is merely helping Tigger to bring out his hidden potential.”
